This is with version 1.01 on the PC, so I'll have to try to verify that it still "works" after I install the 1.02 patch.
I already have 10 corpse gall between the Circle, Brecilian Forest, Urn, and Honnleath (plus a little time each in Orzammar and Denerim, but no visit to Redcliffe yet). A few show up here and there...but the really significant thing this playthrough was that I took Oghren to the Circle. When rescuing him from the Fade, his captors turned into possessed corpses, I killed them, and they had lootable corpse gall.
So, it would appear there *is* one physical item that can be brought back from the Fade...

Yes Corpse Galls can be used brought back from the fade.
Healing Potions used in the fade are used in "real life" as well. The points gotten from the fade are permanent too.
Keep in mind that the Fade is NOT a dream world where nothing is real - The Fade is a very real alternate dimension that humans and elves (not dwarves) can "visit" while they are sleeping. When you go to save Conor's life you (as a mage) or a mage of your choosing gets physically teleported into this alternate realm.
