Ummmm.... you don't have to get renegade points to get Zaeeds loyalty. I saved the ppl and told him I didn't want him on my crew and he still ended up loyal to me.

Good to know.

I lost Legion and Jack.
Legion, I had no worries. I mean, they can always send another one to help.
Jack, on the other hand, made me pause for a moment. Then I smiled and thought that the emotional impact of having a member die was more awesome than ME1.

I saved everyone and it was very satisfying.

I lost Thane, figuring that whomever you send in the vents was going to die regardless, and at least he was already terminally ill. (There's a scene in ME1 in which it's implied that Kaiden would be better at arming bombs than Ash, but it turns out it's irrelevant, so I figured this choice would also be irrelevant. Oops). That said, I was still pretty sad to lose him. I hope that he gets his own prequel game or something after the trilogy's done.

I do plan on replaying the end so that I have a save in which my "main" character, John Shepard, loses nobody. That said, I also have another Shepard who is going to lose nearly everyone. I chose paragon dialog options for him in ME1, but he lost all his friends on Torfin, all his family as a colonist, and soon, nearly all his crew in the suicide mission. He even lost that Tabitha girl because I never give him points toward dialog. Very tragic figure, Dixon Shepard is.

Legion. I was confused, because miranda approved of my choice of samara as fireteam leader, I guess she's really not the leadership type though.

My first play through I lost Garrus, because it didn't occur to me that he wasn't the same techy Garrus that I had in ME1... and I lost Zaeed because like alot of folks I thought he'd be a good squad leader... and he wasn't.  I also lost Morlin in the "Hey look random Scientist death!"  Losing Garrus was rather painful.  Always liked him.  Losing the other two?  Meh.  Morlin probably only had 3-4 more years left anyway, and Zaeed died well.

The first time everyone survived an i was very pleased. 15 minutes ago i finished my 2nd playthrough and only Tali and Garrus  survived which was the idea from the beginning. I liked all the characters except Miranda so i enjoyed watching her die  . Also i don't know why but the way Thane died on the Normandy made me laugh

During my first playthrough, I didn't lose anybody. My second one, I did lose Legion though. I didn't have a high enough renegade status to help both Tali and Legion during their argument so I chose Tali. I'm pretty sure that led to his demise, even though I did do his loyalty quest.

Lost Legion in the vents. Lost Morlin in that last battle somehow... his body was just lying there.

First playthrough, I lost the crew. That was quite devastating at first, especially after the doc blesses you out. Crew is easily saved though. Second, saved everyone. Third, lost Mordin. Fourth playthrough not finished, but have Zaeed. Fully expect him to be toast, but sorry, no loss.

I lost Miranda

It made me feel a bit disappointed that I lost someone, but also glad it wasn't someone I actually liked.

I lost Legion, Grunt and Jack in my first playthrough.

I was devastated when Legion died, didn't expect it... I knew someone would die when i asked Jack (no loyalty) to hold up the barrier and i wasn't surprised she kicked the bucket in the end.. I wished Legion survived though :(

Everyone survived but Tali and Yeoman Chambers, couldnt care less about Tali as I messed up her loyalty mission on purpose and I could do without her, but losing Kelly was horrific and I'm playing through again to try to keep her

I saved everyone except Kelly. Didnt realise there was a mission limit.

Picking who would go in the shaft to open the doors the only logical conclussion i could come to was Legion. He can fight, can sneak and can use tech like nobody else.

Garrus was the best choice to lead the other squads considering he was in the turian military and lead his own group of renegades.

Jacob to do the escort back to the ship and Samara to hold up the biotic field because she has hundreds of years of honing her biotics.

Took Miranda and Grunt with me the whole time. Grunt was invaluable he even finished off the final boss while i was reloading.

What mission limit? and how does it affect being able to save Kelly? in my game she got diced in a pod.<_<

If you go through the relay as soon as your squad are captured or only do 1 more mission before you go through then you can rescue her too. The longer you wait the more people you lose. She got diced in mine too I only found out about the limit tonight.

Everyone lives - even whole crew. Shepp was more than glad... I love that final look on Normandy full of crew, companions.... Relief. But during the mission (i didnt read anything about it that time) I was cracking my pants - you know, fear :D

I lost the black guy, it made me feel like a ship of stereo types, a whole ship of people and only the black guy dies.
