Which do you think is the most intimidating reaper? The final scene in ME2 shows a massive reaper fleet and all of them look a little different from one another.

Personally i still found sovereign the scariest one due to his design and i dont know if im wrong but sovereign looks larger and longer than most of the reapers at the end of the second game.

Sovereign absolutely own Harbinger in every way. Tone of voice, inflection, grammar and punctuation.

It was very mechanical, and instilled a sense of inferiority in you. I love the encounter with Sov in ME1.

Harbinger was a bit... I don't know... too human (see what I did thar?).

Sovereign felt like a god in my opinion, harbinger sounded like the cliche idiotic villain that denies his failures claiming you have failed when he was clearly beaten and plans foiled.

Sovereign also happened to be the bigger arse hole with his "god" speech and arrogance.

I think the convo with Sovereign added a lot to his intimidation factor...we never really got to talk to Harbringer any..just listen to small rants by him.

They seem to have different methods.

Sovereign/Nazara is the brute who uses the Geth as cannon fodder as he races for the objective.

Harbinger is the devious one, controlling the Collectors from afar.

I wonder what the next game will have in store for us. Possibly it'll pit the best of the Reapers against us. I wonder what personality it'll have.

Harbinger and his "I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL." "I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL." "RELEASING CONTROL." "I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL." "THIS HURTS YOU." "I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL." "DIRECT CONTROL." "THIS HURTS YOU." "I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL." got old very fast. It will be very hard to take him seriously after all of his cliche evil speak.

Or do you think harbinger may be the leader of the reapers?

I liked the revelation when Harbinger bailed on the Collectors and you realized he was a Reaper. Very cool moment. Just before that I was starting to wonder why his name was Harbinger but after that it made total sense.

Give him some credit, he did mix it up a bit with some 'THIS REQUIRES DIRECT INTERVENTION' and 'I WILL BREAK YOU SHEPARD IF I HAVE TO'.

Bless his little cotton socks.

Well also, there's another reason for Harbringer to abandon the Collectors that he's possessing. Remember what happened when Sovereign possessed Saren...and then didn't have anywhere to jump to afterwards? It's true that Sovereign was much more menacing, but Harbringer always felt like he was one step ahead of us, and his ability to body-jump at a moment's notice was actually a serious concern on the harder difficulties (He hits REALLY hard).

I can see, in-character, how fustrating or demoralizing it is to kill "Harbringer" only to suddenly have him possess the next Collector over and jump right back into the fray.

You are silly. Where is your reference for scale with them? Based upon the fact that many of them look nearly identical to Sovereign's type, I'd say it's safe to assume they are relatively similar in size, especially when you consider that the 2nd derelict reaper that was located by Cerberus was also the same/similar in size.

Sovereign. Harbinger never really says anything, while Sovereign's talk with Shepard in ME1 is epic. I mean, Legion quoting Sovereign in ME2 is far scarier than anything Harbinger ever does.

He did not claim that Shepard failed. He was speaking to the Collector General in that scene.

Do you know how to read? I said LOOKS larger and longer, i didn't pass it off as a fact.

You don't know how to read. I asked a question about how you arrived at that conclusion, ie what makes you think that Sovereign is larger? For that you need a reference of scale. I gave supporting evidence for why I thought your conclusion was silly. Don't get butt hurt brew.

I also don't believe we get any side shots of Harbinger like we did of Sovereign. What we get is forced frontal and rear perspective of him/them. Perhaps that threw you off. The derelict reaper is clearly gargantuan just like Sovereign though.

No ones getting butt hurt but you. I just said it looked longer and you are jumping to the conclusion that i passed off my assertion as fact. If you don't want contribute to this thread then simply don't post.

And learn to read, equip your glasses and get off your high horse. I posted comparison photos in an earlier post.

Sovereign felt more powerful. Harbinger seems more like a smaller fry Reaper who is being opportunistic with the Collectors.

But he's funny as his talks to you while battling you. At first it was a little scary then he just goes on as you are trouncing his army. gets a little silly.

The first few fights with him on Horizon were pretty good but he should have morphed into more powerful forms as the game progressed.

You are jumping to conclusions about me being butt hurt haha! I'm butt hurt because I said you were being silly? You really ARE silly! :o

You still didn't answer my question. You said they looked smaller, but what made you draw that conclusion?

No conclusions needed seeing its as obvious as looking at the colour of a red piece of paper.

I DID answer your question, only problem is you were too high horsed to even peer your eyes down a little further to the answer you seek.

^ Quoted just for you hun.

And dont be a hypocrite by the way, you are asking me where i'm drawing my conclusions from yet you came to the conclusion that the derelict reaper is the same size as sovereign without any refrences to scales.

Soverign had the reach, but Shepard had the flexibility.
