So yes, sovereign does look longer.

Soverign had the reach, but Shepard had the flexibility.

I actually liked Harbingers last scene a lot more than Sovereigns.

But then again we hardly got to know Harbinger nor Sovereign... I actually think I liked Harbinger more, though Sovereign was developed better.

I have to say though, Harbinger felt certainly more adversarial than Sov. He took out the Normandy 1, slaughtered what must have been thousands upon thousands of humans, and ambushed the Normandy 2 on at least two occassions.

You are jumping to conclusions about me being butt hurt haha! I'm butt hurt because I said you were being silly? You really ARE silly! :o

You still didn't answer my question. You said they looked smaller, but what made you draw that conclusion?

No conclusions needed seeing its as obvious as looking at the colour of a red piece of paper.

I DID answer your question, only problem is you were too high horsed to even peer your eyes down a little further to the answer you seek.

^ Quoted just for you hun.

And dont be a hypocrite by the way, you are asking me where i'm drawing my conclusions from yet you came to the conclusion that the derelict reaper is the same size as sovereign without any refrences to scales.

You're looking at the frontal section only in that shot so I don't know what you're trying to show.

Look here and they look pretty proportionally similar to the ME1 pic you linked.

What about this one:

^ Habinger blueprints(pressumably harbinger)

^ Sovereign.

Notice how sovereign looks longer while harbinger looks short and stocky?

Now this was where i based my conclusions on, unless there is a possibility of inconsistency or harbinger is the same length but much broader.

harbinger is more interesting. for example when your fighting the collectors and harbinger assumes control over one of them he says dont kill sheperd i want to preserve him or something along those lines. the human reaper freaked me out abit with those big eyes staring at you.

i think Sovereign was just a normal reaper and i think harbinger is like the leader of the reapers. the picture that joker holds up at the end is proberly just a standard reapers blueprints etc. you do see harbinger on the hologram talking to the collecter near the end when he says how the collector had failed etc.

This picture has had me thinking actually. The perspective is again messed up. Look at the thing on the right. You can clearly see that the perspective is angled from the front and slightly above and not simply top down by the fact that you can see A) the front and B) the tentacles/beam weapon finger things hanging down. Then you look at the thing to the left of it. The perspective of this appears to be a top down perspective but it's the same size on the data pad, which would mean the scales would be different given the perspective of the thing on the right. Notice how the light coloring on the side/mid section is shaped differenlty due to the perspective you are looking at it from. Now look at the thing on the left lower corner. It seems to be something completely different with thinner fingers that the rows of extend farther back and also has a spread apart rear section. They could be all different reapers or different scales/states of the same reaper.

Also in the pic you linked of Sovereign, his tentacles are extended forward rather than "hanging down" making him appear longer. Again it's all in perspective.

Do you not notice how the overall shapes Reapers are completely different due to perspective??? They also look like different reapers. A lot of the details don't line up even when you try and correct for perspective in your head.

Honestly, sovereign was more of a soldier compared to Harbingers more tactician style. Sovereign took one for the team, when he could have bailed, he stood and fought trying to open the relay. Harbinger basically used tools more than Sovereign (although they both did this), but Harbinger chose to live to fight another day. Then again he may not have been in the vacinity.

Question's hard to answer until ME3, and you actually encounter Harbinger.

I will say seeing Harbinger with thousands of reapers at his back was more intimidating than anything Sovereign did, although that's in no small part because you know what each of those ships can do thanks to Sovereign dismantling the Council's fleet.

The interactions with sovereign were way different than with harbinger.. it was almost on a more personal level with sovereign.. you only encountered harbinger when he took over a body of a collecter.

Human reaper. Too bad we don't get to see it finished.

I can't stop picturing the sight of it flying through the galaxy like superman, blasting laser form eyes and kung-fu it out with good guys ships

I'm surprised no one else as ask, is that the PDA picture Joker was holding is showing 3 different Reapers?

One thing is for sure. Harbinger and the Reapers are not too keen on attacking boldly, so this alludes to a weakness we may not yet know about. So we can expect to do some more investigating in ME3 to find what their weakness is. They obviously have to "find another way" according to Harbinger so they must have some kind of respect for the unity we can bring to the battle. So it will be interesting what happens next. Sheperd FTW!

It's Harbinger, from different angles. They don't look different at all.

Sovereign had the better voice.

Sovereign absolutely own Harbinger in every way. Tone of voice, inflection, grammar and punctuation.

It was very mechanical, and instilled a sense of inferiority in you. I love the encounter with Sov in ME1.

Harbinger was a bit... I don't know... too human (see what I did thar?).

Good points, all.  I agree.  Sovereign is superior in every way, and not least because his language and detachment make you feel inferior.  Harbinger has a vested interest in getting revenge...a bit too base an emotion for such an enigmatic 'race' of beings.
