Jumping from Feed to Specified Post -- something new happen?

When I click off my news feed and head to see the post that was made, the site now jumps to the specific post that the feed is showing. I wasn't sure this was new, so I went and checked Here and it seems that it *is* new since I only added that suggestion sometime last week.
If you guys have "stealthily added" this feature, or, fixed the bug that prevented it from working, then Thanks!! If it has always been this way, then I will go have myself committed!!
