I live in EU to, and I got it.

1. Check inside the box where cd2 is.

2. Go buy it.

It is not there and why should I buy it when on the back it's written that the code is in it.

I didn't get a code in my PC retail box either. It simply wasn't there and there's been many reports on this issue. Some boxes do not contain Cerberus codes.

You can fix it though.

The ONLY way that worked for me is contacting EA through their live chat support:
http://support.ea.com/chat

The first three times the chat cancelled when I was first in the queue, but the fourth time it worked.
When I finally got through the guy on the other end fixed it for me right away by attaching a Cerberus code to my EA/Bioware account, where I had already registered the game with my serial.

This has also worked for others and seems to be the only way to get this issue sorted out.

Well it seems that the info on the back of the box is wrong, I talked to the support and I wasn´t supposed to have a code. This is their response:

I would like to inform you that cerberus network code was given to some limited customer, only for those who have pre-ordered their game from official retail partners like gamestop or EA store.

The only way for me to fix this is to buy a code. I´m not really sure as to why I should tho...

Hey, Vibbes

Can you provide the issue number you should have been given by EA Customer Support? I'd like to track down the source of that comment because as I understand it, everyone who bought the game should have received a Cerberus Network code.

Thanks!

That would be great, but as for me I decided to go to EA store and buy the code. If you do discover that I had the right to the code, what can I possibly do to reclaim my 1200 biowarepoints?

Here´s the info:

Well, great! I preordered the Collector's edition from Gamestop, but they called me 1 day before release date and told me, they not gona have the Collector's Edition at all. So I toke the Normal version. Of course missing cerberus card!!! So what's the deal??? We in Europe doesn't deserve it or what? I tought Bioware is much more serious company than the others. But I am start to hesitate. And please I don't give a sh*t what the EA say now about the cerberus card. Before release they sayed, "ALL GAME WILL GOT A CERBERUS CARD". Lucky those who download it by torrent and rapidshare. They dont have a problem at all!!!
Of course i tryed to use the chat multiple times, but before I reach the 1st position on chat, I am disconnected. Already send multiple mail to EA, but surprise...surprise.... no answer.
REALLY DISSOPOINTING!!!!

before start saying not all game should have the card. Here is the official link from bioware!

"Included in each copy of Mass Effect 2, for both PC (digital and box) and X360, there is a Cerberus Network card with a unique single-use code. Login to the Cerberus Network in Mass Effect 2 and register your code to enlist! Once you are a member, Cerberus Network content is available to you at no extra charge."

Link: http://masseffect.bi.../info/cerberus/

I want to say something ugly, but i don't want to give them a one more reason to delete my post.
P.s. sorry for my bad english. I try to do my best.

Hey, Don
Well the issue is per se solved, because I bought a new Cerberus Network code, as instructed by EA support.

But if I was supposed to have one for free in the first place, then it isn´t solved... I´ve replied to the customer support once again in this matter. I´m currently awaiting a re-reply.

Hey, Don

EA support has confirmed that they did an error, I was indeed entitled to a code.

But now the issue is resolved.

Thank you for helping me with this!

Incident:100211-049532

Just like others in this thread, my box didn't have Cerberus code in it. I managed to get thru EA chat and now DLCs are in my registed game promotions (and I can DL and install 'em) but I still can't log into Cerberus Network in-game. Game still think my DLCs are "unauthorised". I was rather anti-DLC before but I'm probably not going to bother with 'em in the future, free or not.

2nd trip to the EA chat seem to have fixed the issue. If someone else miss their Cerberus Network code, remember to check in-game that you can log into network before leaving the chat.

Downloaded the game from EA Store where it is on sale thru Feb. 18th, got ME2 (standard edition) and Cerberus registration codes in my E-mail receipt. Copy and pasted Cerberus Code, got my add-ons after, no problem.
