I just finnished my first playthrough and was thinking that there could be some excellent mods or DLCs which would make continuing playing worthwhile. Hopefully Bioware will support the aftergame with some proper expanisons and DLCs, but it would be better if it was moddable because there is no doubt the community would make this a huge game/aftergame.

First there is whole Cerberus angle, depending on what you decided to do with defeated Collector base. If you blew it up against IM's wishes you are supposedly fired/resigned so in theory one could kidnap the ship and squad and go rogue on Cerberus itself. That would be fun.

Then there is the whole angle about whats been learned about the Reapers. As the ending indicates they will be back so an expansion could deal with some dangerous missions looking for more research/technology and information on the Reapers.

Or there is the Alliance and Council who have been very quiet for the whole game. In an aftergame, Anderson could come back in and endorse Shepard again since he has defeated the collectors, and perhaps start some new intrigue together re Udddina. Basically bring back the citadel as was in the first game and make a bunch of quests revolving around it.

So anyone else got any idas for DLCs, expansions?

You know if they made the game "moddable" it would be a very real possibility that players could end up corrupting their saves and making them impossible to import to the next game.

I think it's a good thing they haven't set up ME for mods, as fun as they could be.

This type of game-play feature has been around forever. game companies are just now making it more accessible to a broader audience and IMO is part of the future of the gaming experience. MODS have been around since duke nuke em. Only tech savvy people could make them, but now with more advanced tools the range of this has expanded vastly.
