so that in case of a reinstall, I don't have to redownload the entire thing?

edit:
FOUND IT:

It's a hidden folder, so make sure you can view hidden folders first.

C:\\\\ProgramData\\\\Electronic Arts\\\\EADM\\\\cache\\\\{ 2284648568 }\\\\dragonagedlx_dd

All setup files are in that folder. Extras are found in the folder before it.

Where did you get it from?

If it's from D2D just copy the whole folder you downloaded and burn to a disc.

Could have sworn I bumped this about half an hour ago... so BUMP, at least to see if anyone can confirm that what Neveras said will work.

you can backup anything you download LOL. before you install the game, just back up the install files.... in the case of steam.. no need as you can always re download it.. but you can back up the dragon age origins folder under steam... and if something happens, tell steam to reinstall the game.. pause the DL.. copy all files back... it will verify the files are all there and install in no time. the KEY folder to back up is under your documents folder is the Dragon Age folder under bioware that has all your saved games, etc, etc

TallBearNC, do you know where the DDE install files are located?  If downloaded through the EADownloader that is, not Steam.

Are the files from an EA Download deleted after installing the game? The EA Manager didnt give the option where to copy the download! Is there a way to do this so I have enough room on my local C Drive to also install the game?
