Maybe a flashback mission depending on your service record.

You know, fighting in the Skyllian Blitz, surviving on Akuze, fighting on Torfan.

I think that'd be interested, how they could implement it is beyond me though.

Weapons and armor are a must.

Armor for your companions or at least the ability to change the colors around.

Some more story missions for companions.

More missions relating to people from ME1 like Dr. Michelle, Captain Kirrahe, etc.

1) The Mako/ really get to explore new planets, revisit locations from the first Mass Effect.

A nice, big, juicy expansion pack, like what The Shivering Isles was to Oblivion.
I for one would like to see origin stories. Hell, you got to play as Joker for all of two minutes (in one of the most interesting parts of the game), why not your squadmates, from their perspective? We could see exactly what our old and new teammates were getting up to in the two year gap from a much deeper perspective. Stuff like how Garrus eotionally cracked when Sidonis betrayed him, or what kinds of cases Samara investigated as a Justicar.

Not necessarily huge segments, but being able to see characters back (or middle if they were in ME1) stories would seriously deepen the experience, in my opinion.

Failing that, armour and guns are good too. But I for one enjoyed the more streamlined inventory - much less micromanagement. Lord knows we don't want to go there again :P

Plus, I hated the Mako in the first game. Awkward controls, crummy gun that fired about a third of the shots it sounded like it was shooting, etc. Howvever, ME2 seemed kinda barren without it - heres hoping the new tank missions will improve on the original formula. :)

I have a really bad feeling that the only DLC we are going to get is going to be the stuff already mentioned. I love Bioware, but they haven't been stellar in the DLC department.

If they do happen to step up though...I would like to see something that expands current characters like carrot mentioned. I would also like to see something come out that allows us to take down the shadow broker with liara and maybe something that lets us find a solution for the geth/quarian conflict.

- More ground exploration (New parts of the citadel, Illium, and Omega).
- Meeting people from ME1 ( Sha'ira, Chloe Michel, Emily Wong, Captain Kirrahe or Commander Rentola etc.)
- Weapons, Armors, and Casual clothes.
- More planetary missions (all this space is so empty).
- More way to spent all those mining ressources.
- More ways to earn credits to pay for the mining.

But #1 on my list: FISHES THAT DON'T DIE

I second 90% of stuff said before.

Hand-to-hand combat and melee weapons maybe? Something like chainswords from WH40k. They'll tear through armor and shields and will be kinda cool to use while playing vanguard.

Can't think of anything else as of now.

Considering that all of the story only progresses after doing a mission, I want more post-end game missions to keep your LI and squad stories going. Some more weapons/armor choices would be sweet. If it HAD to be stuff before end of the mission, I'd want more N7 stuff that lasts longer.

Course, now that I'm thinking about it, I'd love to see Shep being able to clean things up with the Council and Alliance. If you didnt pick a new LI in ME2, being able to see your old LI post-end game and start things up again. (If thats an option in ME3)

If I'm being honest, I want another 25 hours of game play with story, romance and to tie some things up.

I have a feeling there might be more teammates - plenty of room to the right of Jack in the squad select screen after you get Zaeed...

EDIT: The next DLC character is Kasumi, a thief, as seen from debug screens on the PC version of ME2.

YES, YES, YES! Me wants too.

I see a huge potential in the Mass Effect franchise.. While Dragon age had more lively characters, Mass Effect is the game that makes me go back over and over again. And it has a wider area it can explore and are far more you can do in this one..

What I would like to begin with is that I feel the chapter that is ME2 didn't end well, its like ending 3 pages from the end where we then get the third chapter which is Mass Effect 3.

Like why can't we tell Anderson that we took out the Collector.

and Why can't we get the council to open their eyes. offcourse since Cerberus & the keepers have run of with most of Sovereign's left over I can see the council has a problem here when it comes to proof... But after you've done the Suicide mission, I can't imagine that Normandy did not make any recording of the travel beyond the relay and some bringing back some parts of the old wrecks that was left over there.

Also bug fixes, There are lots of hulls in the maps where your character gets stuck, defense's you can't jump over for some stupid reason and so on.

For stuff I'd like to see would be an option to leave enemies corpses floating around the battlefield, not vaporizing into nowhere(except for these which burns up or get blown into millions of ice fragments.
Also that when you run over enemies that are floating around that you run over them, not thru them. Makes it a little bit more realistic.

Also I'd like some missions where I can go out and hunt baddies without my party.. And let me use stealth, not the cloaking kind, but where you sneak upon someone and kill them of with a knife...

As for full sized addons...

Citadel
What about missions in the 20hour+ that takes you back to the citadel?
I'm thinking something like the journalist Wong contacts you and needs you help to find out why so many people are disappearing in some sectors of the Citadel..
Could it be that some organ thiefs are on the loose? (Maybe the Doctor from ME1 had an accomplisher which now has started on his own.)
Decadence among the rich? Some of the rich see on themselfes as Gods and has taken up and interrest in putting some on the other races on their cuisine... (and what better place to get the meat than among the people C-Sec won't bother with looking for.
Maybe Sovereign activated something deep within the station, which require people,, building and husk army deep down in Citadel where no one of the races ever go or can get to.

On the edge of alliance space
As the batarians got really bad beaten by the newcomers earthlings and lost lots of space. After that for the last years it has been peacefully. But now Humans settlers has put their eyes on more batarians land which they wan't to take from the batarians, so they go in and drive the Batarians away. Either thru terror or genocide... So Shepard gets involved, either thru Andersen(Which I think wouldn't like it) or Udina(Which would support it aslong as he gets votes on it.. probably trying to talk it into some batarian propaganda...) or that annoying a new feed by that annoying Journalist which probably glorifies it and talks about the Batarians victims as Terrorists...
Could by interresting, shepard which is known Human hero with lots of batarians life on his/her hand comes to help the batarians against the invading Settlers which drives the batarians away. That would be a surprise for both parts..

Think thats enough for now...

Rant out.. :D

Expanded conversations, romances and intra-party interaction. I'd easily pay 10 Euros for that.

I would like to go and take down the Shadow Broker, but I think s/he is going to have a large role to play in ME3.
