Has anyone run into problems where they will walk into objects a certain way and then find their character hovering in the air? You'll still be able to move around normally---but you're in the air.

Yes, I have this problem too. I touch cover somewhere, and suddenly my character is 10 feet in the air, unable to move or land. I have to load a saved game to continue.

Yes, happened when I did Jacob's quest, at some point when you get close to his father's camp you'll battle several mech's before a gate. There's a cliff to left with the sea below and a mountain side to the right. Quite narrow passage. And then there's one of those obstacles behind what you can take cover. I blasted the mechs and then ran around that cover, between it and the mountain side to the right and chars were boosted up into the air and got almost stuck there. Took me 10 minutes of fiddling back and forth before I finally managed to get away from that spot and back onto the ground.

Archangel's loyalty quest, near the end (but not the very end). Got stuck on top of a crate. Had to reset, as I could run around all along the top of the crate, but could not get off the crate. (and I tried everything)

Same issue several places.Seems like collision code is not working too well. It has happened in the quest with the 3 mechs destroying the 20 ccargo rates. It happened at the data pad after you kill the collectors near the beginning of Horizon and at the wall before the lower area in Horizonwhere you first fight the collectors. It happened in Okeer when I got to close to large cover.

Yep... I've had this happen to me at least half a dozen times, and the only reason I'm not irritated about it is that it caused some rather funny situations. Still though, all humor aside, it's a goofy bug and needs to be squashed. Bump this thing if you're tired of playing as "Dhalsim Shepard"

Happens at random, and I've heard everyone complaining. For me, it happened during the sidequest where you have to salvage/save twenty crates from three mech (at a point far before they can see you), during the MSV Escothingy (the balancing ship) and there was one time when I could walk through the galaxy map (which I could reset by talking to Kelly), but the table was too high and scary to come off.
Bug results in suddenly being a lot higher, as if you're walking up against an impossibly steep wall at normal horizontal speed, after which you're stuck on a plateau up in the sky or just stuck in position. Interacting with objects may reset your position before and after you talk (due to the way mini-cutscenes and dialogue scenes work), but often restarting the mission is the only option.
Very odd, and must be fixed. This is game breaking, BioWare.

Happened to me twice in the first hour of playing, in the Omega mission. Back to DA:O...

Happens nearly everywhere. I hope this will be fixed soon. It's really a major bug.

Didn't happen the entire game, then twice (so far) on the suicide mission. Shepard got stuck once coming around a corner, and now Legion is stuck hovering above a low wall and I can't advance. Have to restart again
