While playing through missions ingame I've noticed that the character dialogue slows down and deepens, making it next to impossible to understand what people are saying.
Does anyone else have this problem, or am I alone in my torment?

I have it, and I only got it after I installed the game to my HDD.
Before installing, I got my second play through up to the part where you have to close some door's in archangel's area, saved and quit. Then I installed the game to the HDD after reading on here that it sped up the load times for some people (not so much for me, but I think my xbox just has load issues). I loaded up my save and the very first thing I hear is archangel telling me to close the doors, just in a real low and slow voice.

Does everything he say sound slow and deep, or does it happen mid-sentence?

I had it just happen with a mission that I was doing on the second disc, im installing the disc to the HDD to see if i can duplicate it. it was uber annoying, about 9 seconds of dialog just gone.

I have had some issues with dialog similar to what has already been mentioned here, I have had a decent amount of garbled audio both with TV speakers and with audio system, tried it on another 360 on a separate TV had same issues, it only happens during combat though. Tried with HDD install and disc.
