For male shep, hands down it is Tali.



For Femshep it is a tie between Garrus and Thane.

If Kelly was developed better, she would've been the best romance in the game - but noooo, just some mild flirting and then BOW WOW STRIPTEASE. So disappointing, Kelly really had the potential to be a realistic and well-made character.

I agree with a lot of what your saying only difference is I thought the femshep romances were BAD, and I never play Mshep so I never actually got to see the Tali/Jack romances.

Kelly should have been a full on LI, would've been cooler. Oh well.

I imagine the "invite" option for the actual squadmate romances are different then Kelly?  I honestly don't know, since I didnt romance anyone to see where things will go with Liara for ME3 although I did flirt with Kelly.  Her "getup" and strip definitely caught me off guard....

In terms of the romance scene it would have to be Miranda. But in terms of the whole development I would have to say SuZe or Tali.

I think the other romance options have the 'invite' button as well. Although they don't feed your fish. And they don't perform horrible striptease for you while being dressed as an asari porn star. My fish > Jacob/Thane/Garrus romance, so Kelly wins. I got fond of them(and the hamster too) =(

I'm surprised so many people went for Jack. My Shepard didn't have the desire or patience to bring down her walls.

I don't like the way any of the romances start out. Really, not any of them. They all just seem so shallow in the beginning.

But then by the end, it's obvious that some of them are actually much deeper. Personally I found Tali, Thane, Garrus, and Jack romances to be the best. Thane and Jack's are really bittersweet, and although I'm personally not into that sort of thing (too sad for my tastes) I think they were handled really well and I can appreciate them. Garrus's final scene was absolutely adorable and heart-warming. I'm actually GLAD it wasn't "sexy". The head bump was perfect, imo, since their relationship is more of an emotional thing anyway being such different-looking species and all. It was nice to see him so vulnerable, and the same can be said for the others (especially Jack). Tali was completely adorable and I honestly don't mind that her face is left a mystery but I think I'm in the minority there.

Miranda and Jacob's aren't BAD, but they didn't have the same emotional appeal that the others do IMO. But maybe I just need to watch them a few more times and I'll change my mind, eh.

One thing I hope for in ME3 is to continue the relationship with your LI, if you have one. And more talking about feelings and less talking about sex.

Tali. I'm sorry, I've always had a soft spot for shy girls who have crushes (especially since my current GF was crushing on me :3 ) but think that they're not good enough (even though they totally are). Basically, I like playing as a Shepard that gives people self-esteem boosts.

I wonder if Thane will die during Mass Effect 3. You can just return to your old LI and say "well he was gonna die soon, and besides, it was on another planet, so it doesn't count".

Garrus, Tali, Jack and Thane in no particular order were all levels of quality higher than the other options in ME1 and 2.

Tali was the best in ME 1 and 2... Sure you can try to tell me she wasn't a romance in 1, but i'll deny it up and down!



And Garrus is a bad ass, I liked the youtube ones I watched with him. That guy is just damn cool.

There should be a joke about this in ME3... if confronted by Ash or Liara... we can just say "Hey... You were just there till I could get with Tali.  Playa!"
