Since there have been claims that a majority are disappointed with ME2, i would like to see how the forum really feels threw a poll. Feel free to close if done before.

Count 50% satisfaction as satisfied. Anything less in dissatisfied.

This.  I can't deny I had fun playing through the game at least once, and probably will again, but it was definitely not what a lot of us expected at all.  Instead of it being a "Roleplaying Shooter" it's now a "Shooter with a few roleplaying elements".

The thing is, kinda disappointed imo still equates to bieng disappointed.

Very disappointed that they censored the additional "controversial" romances. They just should've made it so the player would have to be very specific in wanting to date them, or else you'd just be friends. Not like with Liara in ME1 or Jacob in ME2. More like Leliana in DA:O. I was really looking forward to Talimance, and when I found out that I couldn't romance her (anymore... from what I've read it actually WAS in the game at some point) I was quite a bit disheartened.



Otherwise it's nothing I can't stomach.

But, would you consider yourself more or less than 50% satisfied? if 50% or more, vote you liked it, if 49% or less, vote you disliked it, that simple

Here's the thing. All the people that love this game are PLAYING the game, not spending all their time on a message board complaining. That's why the board looks a bit negative, IMO.

I personally loved the game. I've always been about the story, characters and dialog with Mass Effect and while I do miss the looting and such from the first game, it was not the main reason I loved ME.

ME2 took it up a notch and there's still a lot of DLC coming down the pipe. This is one of the best games I've ever played. Period.

Using percentages isn't really even necessary. If you find that the things that disappointed you outweighed your overall enjoyment of the game, then you vote disappointed.

Honestly, even a great game can have its flaws.

I like the game, its changes and its better pacing/story. But not too keen on the scanning bit and I do miss the weapon/armor variations of ME1.

With that said, ME2 currently has my vote for GOTY.

Or just plain lurking and rolling their eyes on some threads.

Hopefully, all these spam threads and whining would die down in the coming weeks.

Thanks guys. Disregard my previous post. I voted dissappointed even though it's a really enjoyable game. Just not as fun as ME1 in my opinion.

I am somewhat disappointed. Mostly about the complete removal of the inventory system. ME1's needed improvement, not removal.

It seems like people are disappointed in specific aspects of the game but the game as a complete package has been very well received from what I have seen.
