The paragon way, the renegade way, and the Homer way.

When I first went through the game, roleplaying as just myself, I was determined to help Garrus get revenge so I just stepped out of the way and let him shoot Sedonis. It wasn't until later that I realized that there was probably more to the story. So what I wonder is if you save him, and get his side of the story, does it turn out that he actually didn't betray Garrus?

Quick question for those who took that paragon way.

He did, but he was threatend by the mercs. He says how he is already a dead man, how he can't sleep at night...well here.

There's no reason given really, beyond a "oh he's feeling so sorry about what he did, it's already punishment enough".InvaderErl wrote...
Did the game ever give a reason NOT to kill Sedonis? I let Garrus shoot him but I haven't been able to find the Paragon choice on YouTube.
In fact you could probably argue granting Sidonis the swift death he wishes for is more of the Paragon choice here since it gives closure to both people affected and it doesn't force your own morality on Garrus. Preventing it felt very self-righteous to me and to a degree hypocritical*, too much to personally go with it.
*) doubtful many of the paragon types would be so quick to forgive if a betrayal by one crew member resulted in the whole staff of Normandy and all your team mates getting murdered by mercs e.g.

my paragon shepard kills people for much less than what sidonis did, I don't see any reason to prevent him from killing sidonis
Which is precisely the problem with the Renegade/Paragon system...

So he's a coward and a traitor. Glad I let Garrus take the shot.

I would have let him shoot the Turian if that's what he really wanted but somehow I think it is better to walk away. What if Garrus finds out the guy was threatened? He might think of it as another mistake, it could haunt his entire life if you ask me. He's already got enough problems as it is, his face, C-Sec, his father and his team. I let him reconsider if you ask me, if he really wanted to do that then he would have said so and I wouldn't have objected.
