My 14 year old nephew tried that one on his English teacher, can we say...Fail hehe :D

Scarey to think, the English language will be no more..eventually.

Maybe we'll all have to resort to grunting and squeaking at each other to communicate in the future. :)

oh my. german kids tend to use english words, of which they have no clue how they're spelt, because it's kewl...
naturally, they don't get german either, spelling everything how they think it has to be spelt, brainmelting.

That is a scary film

I have no faith in our future literacy rates. It's atrocious, honestly. Sitting through an advance placement course where 90% of the students can't read aloud without going at a snails pace is horrifying. Not to mention stumbling on words like "convenient".

i only got morrigan to sleep with my warden once, she would always kiss and whatnot but i don't think you can get her to go into the tent again barring the ritual. i'm fairly sure you can only get the sex scene once with the women at least, because Leliana only slept with my warden once, but again would always be down for snogging by the fire.

It'll be a world just like "Idiocracy".

"Why come you don't have a tattoo?"

Okay I watched that..thats exactly what I was meaning.  That guy was a doctor?  Scarey stuff.   Talking normal was talking like a "f*g"  my goodness.

To be honest I found most of his so-called conversation unintelligible..alot of slurring (as if his tongue didn't work) and random unfocussed thoughts.

Hopefully the education systems of the world..recognize that this "could" be a problem down the road rofl.

Puts on marking hat: helpful, losers, one, answer, you, flaming, grammar.

Fail.

If you want help 'katie' you need to state the problem clearly, because we can't help if we can't understand the post. We're not paid to help you. We're neither employees nor servants. We help people out of the kindness of our hearts. But in order to do so, we need to be able to read the post. Which means you need to learn to express yourself a bit more clearly.

This isn't a case of a non-English speaker (I can tell that), and I seriously doubt that it's a case of a disability of some kind. It's either laziness or illiteracy. Probably both. And probably from a child.

Yes I too despise the text speak but I have a sister who just fell short of escaping that massacre of language so I've gotten used to it. As well as text speak I'm also fluent in gibberish, whatchawhosit, and idiot so I can speak to anyone, anywhere, in any form.

Try marking undergraduate essays at university, that's no fun either. Or trying to explain to them that such essays actually have to be literate - much less answer the question. It's like they've got fecal matter for brains.

You know, even when I clicked your link I didn't realise it was the same OP until just now after reading this. Darn, definitely not enough coffee, lol. Obvious to all now, yes? I really do like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this just was beyond the pale.

And her/his response was the final nail in the coffin.

And I thought tutoring architecture students was bad...
"No dear, the living room does need exterior walls. Otherwise your furniture wont be protected from the elements. Yes I know you have a roof, but trust me, rain does not fall straight down... just watch Forest Gump. No, I'm affraid you will need a wall or glass panel there even if the people will only use it during the summer. Yes, I know they wont be there when it rains, but the house will. Yes, buildings can get damaged even when you are not there - this is not a philosophical question about falling trees making noise..."
Amazingly her final project for her diploma a few years later, was possibly the best in her year (and I mean that in a good way).

There's difficulty with writing, and there's whimpering that if a woman doesn't want to sleep with you, *obviously* it must be PMS.
