You know, even when I clicked your link I didn't realise it was the same OP until just now after reading this. Darn, definitely not enough coffee, lol. Obvious to all now, yes? I really do like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this just was beyond the pale.

And her/his response was the final nail in the coffin.

Wouldn't have linked otherwise. Would not have been fun ;)

There's difficulty with writing, and
there's whimpering that if a woman doesn't want to sleep with you,
*obviously* it must be PMS.

It has to be PMS though, right? What else could it be? Only Wynne is old enough to use menopause as an excuse for her behaviour :P
It is a bit annoying to see characters as well fleshed out as Morrigan and Leliana have their behaviour reduced to silly PMS comments. Even though I understand it was an attempt at humour.
Still... I would not want to be around Morrigan during that time of the month. I have known a woman who would go completly crazy once a month *shudder* ... ok she wasn't sane the rest of the month either, but that's beside the point.
I would not be surprised if Morrigan became really unpleasent during that time.

It's easy to be labeled a conformist in architecture. :)
Currently you have to be a strict modern architect in order to be a non-conformist to contemporary meta-modern architecture. In which case you will of course be labeled as outdated for conforming with old ideas of the past that you should have rebelled against.
And then people wonder why I prefer arguing about wether Sandal is Bann Teagan's and Lady Isolde's love child...

Four letters... sounds similar to an 18th century german philosopher.

If you still can't figure it out, let us know and we'll send you a pm. Nevertheless, it's only a guess. What don't know what they said.

Heh :o

I'll give you a hint: it's not Marx either. Nor is it Weyl, Beck or Laas ;)

Ohhhh, Krug! So the OP's a Hegelian absolute idealist!

From that ontological standpoint, the grounding of being and conceptualization (revealed here in our historically situated dialogue, the "post" or "OP" if you will) manifests itself through the inexplicability (and indeed, indecipherability) of the abstract identity A=A.

I admit, for a gaming forum, it was all a bit over my head at first.

And now we can let the thread die, since unless anyone really knows their philosophy, we just can't top that :)

I think this might be a bit of a secret... but I always suspected there were not a few teachers on this board. I think this thread has confirmed it.

Yes, anyone waiting for their assignment to be graded should come to this forum and see if their teacher, tutor, professor is hiding out here :)

LOL...hey teachers are gamers too!! Do I admit that to my Jr. High students...nope!
Hell, I know I need an escape from reality sometimes and gaming is perfect for that. Just as long as I stay on top of the papers I need to grade, it's all good. :D

As soon as I saw the thread title, I thought to myself, "Now this will be an intelligent post."

Thanks for not proving me wrong!

As a teenager myself...

OP, quit making us all look like idiots. There are *some* intelligent teenagers left on the planet... Very few, but some.

Quit sleeping in English class. Quit smoking pot because "itz da cewl shiz uhuh ya no wut im sayin dawg". Dream higher than being an illiterate drug addict. Are these assumptions? Oh yes. But from the way you type, I'm going to make another assumption that it's true.

You aren't cool. I'm tired of sitting in 10th grade English class, listening to a bunch of stupid potheads struggle to read the word "convey". You make class 10x more difficult for people who AREN'T idiots, and **** when you have homework that interferes with your "gangsta" time, not that you'd do it anyways. You're too busy playing bad music in your crappy car, being a worthless pile of fail, who aspires to talk about "****es and ho's and gunz and dat shiznit" living off the welfare those "nerds" from high school, who actually WORK, are giving you.

Here's an example: In my state, a 14 year-old girl ran off with her 20 year-old boyfriend. Who has no job. Or a car. Or a driver's license. Or a learner's permit. Or a high school degree, much less any sort of college level education. You know what they did? They ran, RAN, into the forest. Brings a whole new meaning to "running away," huh?

And sadly, I see things like that begin every day. People have lowered their standards. The human race is going downhill at an alarmingly fast rate. Teenagers are evolving into a new race of idiots, and the worst thing is, they are BREEDING. I can only hope that we start deciding to let natural selection take it's course.

One of my (at one time) close friends has fallen into the idiot trap as well. She used to be such a smart, charming girl, and now... Now she's convinced that she's in love with her convict of a 20-something year-old boyfriend, and that she can drop out of school too, and have three kids on welfare.

Ugh. Grow up. Get a job. Learn basic English. Get some common sense. Have some dignity. It's not that difficult, and will serve you FAR better than calling people "MAN****S" over the internet.
