You could also do the pit fights on Tuchanka (sp?) with Urz once you give him some food.

Really, they should have let you sell off your resources to a mineral dealer or something.

The N7 missions don't give you all that much in terms of credits. I think you get 3500 from funding, and a total of 3500 for what you pick up per mission.

I imported with the Rich achievement so I had the starting bonus. The level bonus has nothing to do with credits, that only effects your starting level in ME2 I believe. i.e. reached 50 and started at 4 in ME2.finnithe wrote...
Did you import an ME1 save? I got a lot of credits from mine. I guess yours wasn't as high a level or something.
Subsequently, I guess its not possible to get to 30 in one playthrough as well unless you import. Given I got all the experience in the game and only made it to 28. A level 60 import may have been able to but anything below, is definitely a no go.

I just wrongfully assumed it was going to be like ME1, where credits were simply abundant. At the very least, I was expecting there to be more then enough given you did all the missions.

Together with the fact that a minimum fraction of the planets have actual missions on them, so there are not enough money sources. Unfortunately Bioware cut a lot of corners with ME2, and it shows in details like this.
I just had to reload a save from half an hour ago because I accidentally ran out of credits by buying fuel with all the missions before the IFF done, and didn't even have enough to bet. To let the player run in such a bottleneck is simply bad design.

That too. 7000 each if you pick up everything. As I said it's a nasty combination between cutting corners, bad balancing, and bad design.

think about it you are being funded by cerberus you should be able to call TIM as say hey we are a little strapped for cash and we need a little more creds to purchase an upgrade so that we can you know save humanity and junk
and then TIM sees what you are buying is the latest issue of Fornax magazine and then it becomes awkward

Here is the secret, hidden in this post;
Don't ever buy gas.
Roam on your resources.
By the end, I had over 100k element zero, 400k the others.
It is very easy to sustain the entire game with zero fuel running on resources.
Only catch is that you must mine a lot, but on PC it's a non issue.

Sorry, but the fact that I have NOT to utilize the mechanic used by the game to explore, exploiting the one that should be a malus (using resources) for running out of fuel is still extremely bad design
This not to mention that having that many resources requires hours upon hours of midnlessly boring timesink scanning (which is horrible design in itself).

Was just trying to help.
Otherwise, import a level 60 rich shep from ME1, with ME2 beaten once.
You start with like 300k, 100k ( I forget, but it's a lot) of each resource.
Otherwise, complain here.
Cheers,
