Not for console owners.  Each of my six characters that had a portrait background have a background and no portrait.  Also, two of my characters do not have full body images on the inventory screen.

Also, Achievements are not current.

If you are still having problems with any of these areas, go to the Bioware Support site and open a ticket.

Yeah, definitely not fixed yet. I've only been able to get one of  the five characters that I've built. I sent a message to EA.

The console versions still have bugs where they do not always *upload* the images - the web team is fixing as many bugs as we can on our end, and with a couple exceptions it should now be working for anyone whose copy of the game is uploading the files at all.   As mentioned, EA customer support needs details on who it's affecting (http://help.dragonage.com)  and when before it can be fixed in a patch.

[edit: rephrased to be more clear and to include link to support site again]

I don't know if this will be helpful to anyone but I did some experimenting yesterday and found that the characters that I took through the origin only seem to be the ones that upload the character portraits. Weird, but it's true. Any of the characters that made it past their origin... no portrait, ever.

Jesse, I'm through three different playthroughs. Ragdoll is never updated. Portrait is never updated. One character has no portrait and she's real pretty too.

Is this because of the 360 copy?

Yeah I've got a rogue elf who's level 25 and when I go to see him on my profile all it shows is a warrior i have since then deleted. It shows a level one character but you can't tell who or what he is. I'm also on the xbox version.

I opened a ticket at EA a few weeks ago and finally got a reply. It's a canned response telling me its an in-game issue EA cannot help me with.

Bioware, are you ever going to give your users a straight response on this problem? We were told to open a ticket with EA and we did. Then we get told there are workarounds and none of your staff actually tell us what the workarounds are. We've been told it's a 360 problem and we have PC users complaining about the exact same bugs.

Come on guys. Why not come clean and tell us what's going on?

I have never found EA support to be even the slightest bit useful, going back to Mass Effect issues.

Anyways---yeah, my character's visual appearance has NEVER update (as opposed to slowly updating). Still stuck at Level 1 appearance with leather equip and daggers, not my dragonscale plate and swords...

I'm on the ps3 version and my character hasnt shown up either even if the trophies and stats have so it's not a 360 and pc phenomenon. I might make a new character just so I can have an avatar

I am also getting alot of black screenshots in game and my save games also have black screenshots. Sometimes I have to save the game in the same slot like 5 times just to get the save to show a screenshot instead of a black screenshot.

It's not working for one of ny characters right now on PC. It seems really random. It's my 2nd character with that issue.
I'm sending a ticket to EA support.

That response from Customer Support is shocking. Why call themselves Customer Support?!?!?! That's equivalent to "We cannot help with actual technical problems as we know nothing about how our own game works (please e-mail us for fun anyway though, we love wasting everyone's time including our own having to churn out individual responses telling people we can't help with actual problems despite pretending we can). We're not going to redirect you to anyone who does, instead you can beg for help from passers by that might have figured out how our game works for us here *link*. Have a nice day :)"
I might be missing something, I can't see your exact phrasing of question/problem and don't want to come across as overly patronising or abusive, just outraged - but on plain sight, I mean look at the response! It's retarded..I'm really hoping I don't get one like that (same(ish) problem). Mind, so far I've not got any response from anywhere (these forums OR support (for 1 1/2 weeks or so now)), I've had to figure any problems I've run into out myself, but I can only go so far with my own common sense and no technical knowledge..

the question i asked was about this

For anyone having issues, *please* contact EA customer support via http://help.dragonage.com - they will actually be able to keep track of numbers and can convince the game team that it's actually a bug that needs fixing.

in which i explained my characters in both PC and xbox360 versions were not updating properly and which i did weeks ago and got the answer i posted only a few days ago

I doubt they're in their offices all day doing nothing but smoking ganga, but it could at least be clearly stated that they're only there to collect statistical data and not advise you right away; instead of keeping us under the illusion we have any hope of solving our problems in any other way than waiting for a new patch release.
Good luck to you, and all of us. Chances are with the instabilities I'm reading other people have though, they wouldn't make this a priority (then again, stupid things happen).

Well I don´t know about you, but my problem was that the developer console was activated for my game.

Just start the game regularly and it should work.

If you get a timeout error from the EA servers, just logout in back in and it should be uploaded.

Also try activating all online options in the DA menu.
