When I DL'd the Character Creator, it gave me the same problem. I try to run, but before the game loads, I get an error "Dragon Age Origins has stopped working." No explanation. No fix. Nothing.

I installed (via Steam) today and played for a few minutes. No problem. Then I decided to updated my DLC (after redeeming a code). Lo and behold... now when I try to play the game, I get the "Dragon Age Origins has stopped working." error.

What do I do? 

Long time since I payed around 70 bucks for a computer game, and not being able to run it is frustrating.

Can you post some more information about your system? (OS, CPU, Graphic Card, etc). Also, have you checked that your graphics drivers are up to date?

Vista, Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, Radeon HD 3870 x2... is that enough? I am totally not a computer person. Checking the graphics card update now...

Yes, everything appears to be up to date, but it still won't let me play the game after I DL'd the additional content. Help
