The other thing that bothers me. . . full sex scenes with clothes on works for DAO, not Mass Effect. That will drive me nuts. That, and why won't Miranda just join Shepard in his room? Why the engine room where Tali can jealously look on? How creepy, DA style is that? /rant.

She goes in your room once you finish the game, as do all fully romanced characters.

There's a Renegade vid of the Miranda romance? What? How does that play out?

Sort of renegade hehe...you kiss. You know the part where she says "Maybe I wouldn't mind if you admired my body". You can go renegade with the "You're jealous?" option.

Eventually there's a "(Kiss)" option. It's cute. Then she's like "What...the hell was that?" Then she says she has to think etc etc. Your Shep keeps looking at her smiling and she starts smiling and says "And stop smiling damn it!"

haha :innocent:

Thanks. So I have to be like..really Renegade? Because I was renegade one playthrough and I never got that option.

Edit: Nevermind now I remember that option. Thanks again.

Rather than watching the video, I have a single manshep waiting for her.  She is the romance for males I've been looking forward to the most, and she's always best gal pals with my Shepards, well, I try. . . .

i'm just afraid she'll put my Shepard through a one-night stand hell.  Glad that doesn't seem to be the case.

As for preferring Ash or Miranda, I refuse to say . . .

Oh, and when the issue of the love comes up, DON'T pick the top option. It'll say "Love?", for some strange reason Bioware put that at the top. If you pick that, you'll say the infamours "Who said anything about love. I'm just trying to get you into bed." to where she'll respond "You ass."

Go the middle route "Don't know, don't care", it's the best one.

No, you can be 100% paragon and still have that option. You know the part where you have either option "I'm admiring it right now", pick the one on the bottom "You're...jealous?"

That's the line that makes me want to rokance Tali instead. No offense, but that too much alien love for me. I've already have Shepards committed to Liara, Thane and Garrus . . .

Thanks for the tips, I love Miranda. Too bad my FemShep doesn't get too, though. That was depressing :(

Yea took me a minute, but I remember it. I'm actually about to be at that part on my current playthrough so I can try it out.

No, Miranda it is. I'm mad at jack right now. She isn't loyal. It's very sad.

While the "Love?" reply is a bit over the top (I certainly wouldn't use it IRL if I was seriously into someone at that early stage) I think it's obviously not intended to be taken at face value, and I don't think it's received that way either. At least it didn't seem to affect the later stages of the romance. (does it?) I haven't tested all the options like you seem to have tho :)

Yea, I know. It's just me roleplaying, you know lol. It didn't have any negative implications in the game, but me as a character felt really bad saying that because that's not how I am, so I loaded the previous save before we talked haha.

Yeah, I can certainly understand that. I didn't want to load alot for my first playthrough, and well, I did think it a pretty hilarious exchange at the time, but I think it was a weird line to say with that position in the wheel and the "Love?" caption. I was expecting something more like "Love? Yes, you're right, that's what I'm feeling too" or something else sappy like that. Sometime Shepard surprises me with his lines ;)

No, not true. Miranda indicates that this is not the time for her. Everyone else, except for the renegade version of Jack, indicates an interest for the long term, especially the me1 li's.

No, she specifically tells you to promise her you'll stay alive for her, and specifically says how can we think about love at a time like this. That indicates she has strong feelings. Just because she's comfortable with her sexuality and likes to flirt doesn't mean it's a one night stand.

I've been with my fiancee for 6 years now and in the very beginning, we had flirted and were sexual just like Miranda/Shep were. It doesn't mean we weren't serious.

I told Miranda it had nothing to do with love i just wanted to get her into bed hmm does that mean she was a one night stand? -_-

Liara isn't the Asari I romanced before Ilos. I chose Miranda because at least she became a better person over the course of the story. She really came out of her originally poor attitude and really became an awesome character. Not to mention, she's just plain bad *** in pretty much every regard.

For you yes, but for people who went the paragon route - no, it isn't a one night stand.

so true, so true

You care about your partner in relationships
you dont in one night stands

and nothing in ME2 made me actually care about Miranda on any meaningful level!

The sister thing was a nice touch but hardly means to start a relationship (for any mature adults anyways)

Look, I can insert names and disrespect other love interests too!

and its no accident the only character you care about is the one whose personality and backstory was fully flushed out in ME1

first time ME2 players have all said They find Tali boring!

But hey, your right and everyone else is wrong, continue trolling

I'm not trolling. If anyone's trolling, it's the people going out of their way to call other love interests aside from Tali complete trash.

But hey, you're right and everyone else is wrong, continue calling me out.

I was hoping for that too, didn't like a single FemShep romance. As she isn't it makes it too easy to stay with Liara and be faithfull on FemShep, rather unfortunate for Ash on Male Shep though lol

Well, I stand corrected, I only looked at aa renegade video of her.

Eithr way, unless Bioware is inclined to listen to fans, only the ME1 li's are going to carry through to ME3.

I'm usually against people saying that the romances are one night stands, I'm just bitter at all the impatient people cheating on Ash. Liara and Kaidan.

Did they say that only the ME1 romances were only going to carry over into ME3?  I got the impression that they meant that ME1 romances would carry over into ME3 and have more meat to them in the final part of the game  to give those that were disappointed about the ME1 romances being so minimal in ME2.  For the most part it almost seemed like the ME1 human romances ended in ME2 until you read an email later on down the line.

I imagine the ME2 romances will carry over into ME3 as well.  No reason to not carry them over.

I'm kinda wincing if there will be new romances in ME3.  That'll be alot of relationships to develop in ME3 then. Posted Image

Well, personally I went with Tali, I just felt more attracted - that being said different people are attracted to different things - and this is why there is more than one option for LI's!

On another note, my romantic involvement in the first game was with Liara, why I made the decision to (practically) dump isn't really relevant. IF she is an option as an LI in ME3, (and she is a bit more like her old self) I would certainly like to see a chance to rekindle or some paths regarding your involvement with Liara. Thoughts?

That was my biggest complaint about Miranda. Even though you have not one but two large cabins between you, she picks Tali's work area. Like she was purposely rubbing her nose in it. Tacky.

Smart choice leaving her. Anyone willing to temporarily discard their morals to take down the Shadow Broker will never be a partner of mine.

I agree with the Turian, her morals are degraded so did her character, thus eff you and hello tali~!
