got this game at release and after a week id expect it to work properly without any workarounds.  first off when i first load up it says to enter a guardian email address to activate, im 26 and only have had my xbox for less than 2 years so ive never had it while under 18, still no biggy, i can just enter in a diff emaila ddress and still get in.  i have dragon age so i already have an EA account with my gamertag locked to it, so all i really want is to get to that screan and log in!  but no! this will not happen!  everytime i go to the next screen it says connection to the cerberus network has timed out!!!!!

no biggy, been playing the game just fine but after a week id expect this to have fixed, but no it is the same error since the day i got the game.  i'm not going to read through 50000 posts to see how to fix this so im basically just ranting, i honestly dont need any dlc or the network to have fun in the game, but to be able to play DA just fine and use that network then go to this game and it fail, AND say im under 18 at the same time is just silly!

if there is no workaround for those with this issue please feel free to post here, otherwise ill just continue waiting until my issue is resolved or just give up once i got 1000 gamerscore in this game and put it away like all the others...

I'm 20 and the same thing has been happening to me. only It never even gave me the option to give a "guardians" email it just tells me i'm too young and basically to ****** up a rope.

this is just annoying because i cant buy any dlc or get on the cerberus network without spending 1200 ms points, and since i pre-ordered and have codes to get it for free im just not going to pay any cash on the game.

fortunately im not an ME fanboi, i am however a dragon age fanboi and it works perfectly so im fine, hell i didnt even buy or play ME 1 before getting this game. tho i doubt ill get 1000 gamerscore, the game is so tedious and i dont see myself even attempting the insane difficulty tho ill prob get all the other ones since i feel i havent played a game until ive done all the achievements...



missing all the cool armor and the other party member sux tho

I've already posted about a possible try and see if this works kinda attempt at solving it, from what I can "assume" I've noticed that when I start the DL via ME2 Cerberus menu, everything is pending unless I go to the dashboard, which I "assume" there is a port that is being accessed for the Cerberus network will at the main menu that is hindering XBL's ability to move the pending DL's to active DL's.



SO..... I'm suggesting that people direct connect to their modem if possible to see if they can get access to Cerberus Network....if so they would need to then adjust router settings sometime in the future(port forwarding, DMZ, MAC filtering etc).

i have the same problem it always says i am to young which makes no sense. does anyone know how to fix this

plugging into the modem isnt an option for me, i have a direct fiber optic cord coming straight from my local company which acts just like a router that i cannot control....



but what gets me is the ability to log into the DA server just fine and not the ME2 server at all. i dont even care that it says i need a guardian to connect, that is just a minor hindrance, not being able to connect even after putting in a guardian's email address (well just a dummy address that is also mine) and getting an error saying it is timing out is just ridiculous. i understand this going on for the first few days but it has been over a week with the exact same message since the first time logging on!
