Actually, Shep jumps the same either way, he only dies if Joker's the only one left to pull him up because evvvveryone else is dead and can't because he's all brittle, which is about the most depressing thing EVER....and then him walking around the ship all alone afterwards staring coffins...my god...I only watched it on youtube and I could barely take it. Is there anyone who would actually NOT restart their save and just leave Shep dead like that??!???
Well the thing about that is you basically have to re-do 50% of the game to avoid Shep dying, if you've let things slide to that point. It's not an easy fix, but I'm glad BioWare put it in there. Seeing Tali die on my first playthrough was enough for me to make damn sure I got every single upgrade the next time through.
Yeah, I guess I was thinking maybe if you assign people to the right teams at least a couple would make it out. I guess a better question would be, who would ever play this game and NOT do at least
two of the loyalty missions...the bulk of this game is the character missions...I mean you know otherwise Shep is gonna die..unless you do it out of pure curiosity. Otherwise why are you shellingout sixty bucks for this.
