it's been a while since i romanced liara and i'm thinking of making a save where i have her as a li for me2. however i was wondering if i'd be able to start romancing ash and have her die on vermire then start romancing liara. has anyone done anything like this? if so, when would be a good point to start romancing liara? should i do her planet later on?

If you romanced Liara, then when you meet her in ME 2, you kiss for a moment, then nothing else.

your romances for mass 1 don't really carry over for more then the kiss stated above and a picture on your desk.

oh yeah, i know. i'm just wondering though if i can romance ash, kill her and romance liara, or if that ends the liara romance before it begins.

I think your plan would kill any chance of a romance with Liara, since you can't get Virmire before you've done two mission worlds, and you're forced to make 'the choice' after the second mission world.
