Hiya.

Out of curiousity, what hobbies are people here into?

I collect my fair share of golems (metal robots *ahem*) like Alistair. I used to play Magic TCG and Roleplay. I collect books like Wynne.

Hmm I don't have a hobby as such but I do spend time in the Territorial Defense, where I'm a deputy squad leader. I do read a lot too. And GAMES of course.

Drawing, playing guitar, building PCs, games, poetry, kendo, and mma.

I shoot, steel mostly, when I'm not working or saving the 'verse.

Target shooting and collecting both modern and antique firearms (rifles only) cycling, weight lifting, hiking & camping.
And of course playing RPG's like Dragon Age, Baldurs Gate 1&2, Icewind Dale.

Let's see. Reading (mostly sci-fi/fantasy, along with medical journals for work), RPG and some MMO gaming (computer and tabletop), Renaissance re-enactment, Taekwondo, writing, blogging, podcasting, anything Star Wars, collecting Disney pins (mostly Star Wars), birding, hanging out on game forums, playing Lego Rock Band with my kids and singing in Beatles Rock Band with my dad and rest of the family, church stuff, drinking pots of coffee to keep up with all my hobbies.

Drawing, computer gaming, reading (science fiction and fantasy), roleplaying (mostly D&D and MERP), theatre, and some writing.
Sometimes I do model rocketry, but I haven't in a while. There isn't a field near our house that's really big enough any longer.

Video games, creating website layouts, creating flash animations (that suck), reading (currently Under the Dome by Stephan King), and trying to figure out Lost.



I attempt writing (I like creating stories that are based on or include the collaboration of ancient gods. Don't ask, I just do), but I've never gotten very far. I always give up because I can't figure out which way to take a story or because I think the story is crap.

Record collecting has become an expensive habit, like coke I can't snort or something.

I don't have that many hobbies.
I lke reading, writing, anime & manga,games(obviosuly), pc hardware (building and modifying PCs), board games and card games(chess, dominos etc.), walking, table tennis, badminton(haven't played since high school though), multimedia(animation, web design, photoshop and stuff like that, doing that in my course hoping to go professionally with it), collecting anime & game merchandise(figures, posters etc.), music(I guess that's more of an interest though).

I collect weapons. Swords, crossbows, daggers, flintlocks, combat knives of various ages, the oldest one being 400 years old (and a piece I am proud of too).

Other than gaming I read a lot. Primarily fantasy and mystery novels, and the occasional psych book. I drop more cash on books than gaming and music combined. I'm also fond of art and collect art books, prints, and when it's an option, originals. Finally, I write every once in awhile. My mind has to be in a writing mood though, and I can only finish a short story when feeling inspired. Hence it's something I do infrequently.

My hobby is my dog. Tricks, walks, Agility.

Then there's games (computer games/console games), writing, reading and sometimes drawing.



Though with a fulltime job I find it hard to be able to focus on the writing and drawing as much as I wish I could.
