I am have Alisteir and Wynne in my party and they seem to have a dialog going (this is second time they mentione it) about Wynne's son who was taken away by Templer's. Is this story explored further in the game and can I help her find him?

Or perhaps maybe you are referring to her first apprentice named *Aneirin* or something like that?

You find him in Brecilian Forest if you get Wynne's quest, so yes it is explored further.

No, I have already done apprentice. If you have those two in the party with you they have the party convos as you run around and in one of them she says something about if her son would have been something like Alisteir when he grows up. So Alisteir started to ask her further about it and it came out that she had a son while she was in the Mage tower when she was younger. Templers have taken him away from her because she is a mage and children of mages belong to chantry.

Really? I didn't get those convos when they were in my party!

I would think that since she hasn't brought it up, or it hasn't come up in any of the conversations between you and her then it might not be explored in this game.

Other DA games, is a possiblity.

could you give me a  pointer as where in that forest he could be? i went trough that place 10 times already and never seen him is he in the first part of the forest ater you leave the dalish camp or the other with the werewolves ruins in it ?

Sounds interesting. After the tower story line I actually suggested Wynne stay with the tower to rebuild for now, which she does but mentions her joining the party is always open. Does anyone know where she stays after this? I assumed she'd be in the tower lobby but cannot locate her.

He's just North of the Mad Hermits' grove, camping at the ring of white rocks.

Thanks for posting where the apprentice is. Was getting a wee bit frustrated looking for him.
