XBL DLC is authenticated through either logging into XBL or to the hardware ID of the console the DLC was originally downloaded on so it may be freaking out because of jumping from multiple consoles. I'd hook your HDD back up to the original, now after you do that, log into XBL with the account you obtained the DLC with.
Now press the "guide" button on the center of the controller, then go to Settings Tab> Account Management> Download History - and ensure the ME2 DLC is listed.
If so, go to your Memory>HDD>ME2>Delete the DLC.
LOG OFF XBL
LOG ON XBL
Now press the guide button again>Settings Tab>Account Management>Download History> Download the ME2 DLC again.
LOG OFF XBL
LOG IN XBL
Start ME2
If you still have problems try deleting the items again>Start ME2 and Download through the Cerberus Network at the Main Menu*you may have to que the DLC up and return to the dashboard, for some reason I qued my DLC via Cerberus and had to exit ME2 for it to begin downloading, I guess the Cerberus Network connection blocks the DL process, at least in my case.
Also see if it works while logged into your Gamertag but disconnect from internet, if it works the DLC has retained the HardwareID and it's good to go regardless of XBL connection.
There are so many DLC issues because of piracy protection/prevention that some people end up with issues regardless of following the rules of XBL.
I have issues with 3 track packs out of tons of Rock Band 1 and 2 DLC songs even though I've downloaded onto this console and it's assigned to this consoles HardwareID and my Gamertag. Makes you feel like you are renting DLC rather than having true ownership of it.
** you could also try to recover your gamertag if all else fails then delete and re-download with the process above.

so are you saying i should hook my hdd to the original xbox then hook that up to xbox live then re dowload the files? because i have done that multiple times and it still messes up im thinking because it was on my friends xbox but with my hard drive so the dlc may have attached to that systems id. does that mean i have to recover my gamer tag on my xbox?

Whichever 360 you downloaded the DLC on originally is what hardwareID the DLC is assigned to. Also by "re download" did you delete the DLC first?
Yes it's best that you recover onto your HDD while on "your" 360.
Another option is: http://www.xbox.com/...censemigration/
***NOTE you can only do this once every 12 months, what it does is assigns everything you have ever downloaded to "YOUR" 360's HardwareID. It's primarily used in the case where you have bought a new 360 to replace your old one. If you have sent in your 360 and they have sent you another console with an ID different from your original they do this process for you separate from the DIY link above. But in a case where you may have downloaded DLC on a friends console(even though you used your GT) you can reassign the HardwareID DRM tagged to the DLC by doing this.
This is the last resort. After you do this, make sure to re-download everything you're using on a regular basis, ie: map packs, songs, etc. When you re-download, or delete, and download again, it tags the content with the consoles ID, which enables you to use the content offline as well. This will only fix the problem if it's a DRM problem. If there is just something wacked out with the content as far as not downloading correctly the only thing you can do is DELETE and Download Again, simply re downloading the DLC without deleting it will not typically fix the problems.

Ok...not sure there is an answer here...We have 2 Xboxes. Mine and my gfs. She has a Live account and her own games and DLC. But I have ME2 and would like the DLC for that game and that game only. Buying Xbox Live is silly since it is already in the house. But my undersanding is that I am out of luck. If she buys it using her account, only that account can use it. So I would have to start playing the game on her Xbox, under her profile. All my previous ME work will be useless.

I'm getting a message telling me the disc is unreadable whenever I try to land on Zorya.
About to delete and re-download Zaeed, but I wanted to say I've seen a lot of people having the same problem at the same point and my disc is fine.
Wondering if anyone else has had this?
I doubt it's my system considering it is happening with this specific dlc and I've not had problems anywhere else.

There are far more recent threads dealing with such dlc issues so I can't see why the need to post in an old one. Nitpicking aside....
I assume everything worked at some stage, so what has changed? Or is it just 'one of those things'?
I would suggest that you perform the content license transfer to see if that helps (actually, perhaps both of you should), so the dlc is consolidated to that 360. That usually solves most corrupt dlc issues.
You may want to recover your Gamertags as well.
That is for the typical case of corrupt dlc. There is also the get around of having the other Gamertag signing in on the other controller to allow access as well, but that is only a get around and not a fix.
