This may have been noted before, but for me this was new.  I found that after initially bedding Morrigan, when she was at +68 affection (care) I could ask her to join me in my tent and repeatedly she would agree.  Previously, I'd had her affection too high and she would always turn me down (after the original liason).  Now I've spoiled it at least temporarily by joining her in dialog outside the Camp and saying something nice for +7. Back at camp I engaged in dialog and she immediately brought up her objection to my current romance with Leliana, I told her I'd choose her, she gave me her ring and I got +11, and of course I know she'll no longer join me in my tent.  I mention this only because this is the first time I'd had a romance with her at lower approval levels and she agreed to join me in my tent each time I asked.  Now I've got the ring, I'll try to annoy her, and see if she'll agree to revisit me in my tent.  

She's such a weirdo.  Gotta love her.

...I'm not sure what your problem is...but if you tell her "get in the tent woman" she snaps to attention and goes....if you "consult her capricious nature" she will refuse...it's nothing to do with approval form my experience!

Be careful if you talk to her and she is in love with you.  Conversations usually end in big loss of points.

Yes, that's what I experienced.  But on my previous playthroughts my approval must have been a bit too high for the returns to her tent, so I assumed that was always a one time thing with Morrigan.

I have seen this mentioned but haven't had this experience myself. After sleeping with her early I got her ratings up to 100 and still got the same options to go to bed with her everytime at camp.

If you give her both grimoires and get the approval to 90+(Love) she'll refuse to sleep with you. You can ask her about it, but it only makes it worse, it's an emotional breakdown

What happens if she confronts you if your going for leliana and you decide to break it off with morrigan and go for leliana? anything serious?

I believe that you just lose approval.



Mine has this odd glitch where, even though I wasn't going after either of them - Alistair assumed I was close to them both....and I had to end up choosing. I did get two morrigan's rings, though. So it worked out in the end.

Morrigan is such a **** sometimes.....always making me second guess my decisions.....wish there was an dialogue option everytime she spoke that said: "(Respond by spanking some sense into Morrigan)"

And knowing that she loves the demanding authoritarian ("Get in my tent woman") she'd pounce on you the second you spanked some sense into her......naked!

It is possible to get Morrigan to 100% approval and still have her sleep with you (although not for much longer). Even at 100% if it still says "Care" instead of "Love" she'll do the nasty with you.

LightSabres,YES it is possible.Just gifts her every jewelery you can find or buy and if you kill Flemmeth and give Morigan THE book that will pump up her approval rating substantially.............

Does Morrigan's ring have any secondary effects or attributes to it? She said that it would let her track my PC.

Nothing that would directly help your character.



Getting the ring gives Morrigan a small voice part after you are captured by Ser Cauthrien. She states that because of the ring she knows where you have been taken.



It also adds something to the epilogue where you can sense Morrigan's feelings towards you at some point after she leaves.



Other than that it is just a +2 Willpower ring.

i was at +96 with her, and the one specific convo of her confronting her "love" for you dropped me 20 points. its no biggie i guess. I did get her ring though, which is cool. I love her character, I hope they will do something in the expansion. i personally disliked the ending with her because it made me want to chase after her. I really do hope she comes back.

I don't think we'll be seing Morrigan until Dragon Age 2....



I'm hoping I'm wrong of course. It would be nice to "follow" where she's gotten herself to (Orlais) in an expansion.
