This is more of a ME Universe in general question, but since that section no longer exists, I'll post it here.

Obviously, every game digs deeper into the ultimate scope of the story. Each game sets up the next for even greater revelations. So, what do you think will be the ceiling of the ME Universe's  revleations in the end (at least of the trilogy)?

This question is geared toward the Reapers and their mysteries, given their being the central component of the story, but please share anything that you think might be going somewhere or play a large role.

I'll just throw my own out there:

The Reapers are actually part of a "realm of existance so far beyond our own that we cannot even imagine it" dominated by universe-wide Reaper-like entity that wants only death and seeks no preservation. Expanding on that; this Universe-Reaper(s) is more inclined to "rape" galaxies teaming with organic entropy. So, the Reapers let each species have there moment of glory (50,000 years) and then model Reapers after the strongest (those who manage to kill one of their kind), creating their martyrdom.
In conclusion, the Reapers were created by a Milky Way species who realised that there was no way to overcome such an all powerful entity (pretty much God). So, they learned to cope while doing as much as they could about the problem.

I mean, the Reapers having dominion over one galaxy isn't very godly.

I could picture this being revealed after everyone finally defeats the Reapers at the end of ME3 (somehow) and then they find some type of interface like the Sovereign interface hologram thingy on Virimire, that explains such and blah blah.

So yeah, please share yours or whatever.
