Get your "Qwib-Qwib" lulz out of the way now =p.

But really he seems to be one of the smarter quarians at First I thought he just be another Uldna hiding behind point for power but when you talk to him he actually deeply believes his actions and well after talking to Kal'Reegar ((A odd quarian accent doesn't match the rest)). I can safely say I support them trying a peaceful way I'm also hoping my suggest to Tali during her mission will as well help her lean toward there ideals, I 'd hate to have to pick between tali or chance to make peace between two species.

He is indeed one of the smarter geth if he infiltrated the Admiralty Board.

Edit: Darn, he edited his quote

I told Koris to keep working towards peaceful resolutions.

Using Tali as a political tool was pretty douchey, though.

In ME2 I think the Quarians really come across as the bad guys, if you bother talking to Legion at all.

At first I didn't like him but by the end he made up for a little bit by easing up on his **** attitude.

While true in all fairness both sides were doing it.

Yes.

Kal Reegar is pretty clear that retaking the homeworld will be an ugly process, and the Geth are a life-form that have the right to exist.

I support Qwib-Qwib's plan.

Now that I think about it I need to make some sort of image using Qwib-Qwib not quite sure what though. It'll come to me!

Tali warned me to not ask about the name, so the first thing I did was ask him about his name.

like kal-reeger said the quarians aren't suited for a full scale war, they may have the largest fleet in the known galaxy but i still doubt they are skilled enough to maintain a war against the geth, a good enough blitzkrieg on the their homeworld may be enough to reclaim it, however the resulting casualties would render them defenseless against the retaliation from the geth

I've always thought the Quarians were at fault for everything that happened with the Geth. Since Legion confirmed that, I 100% support Koris. No war for the Quarians.

eh, im sure he has the best intentions.  honestly, i dont think there was enough dialogue with regards to the situation to make a firm judgement on the subject, but thats just my opinion.  as for having to pick between tali and having two species come to some kind of truce/ceasefire/peace accord, hopefully youll only play a small role in that.  i mean, if you went the paragon route when tali and legion were going at it, they actually set aside their differences and reached a middle ground.  and the smirk on shepards face at that moment was priceless.  so, if anything is to occur between the geth and the quarians, i think tali and legion will be the key players on what the outcome is.

And the Geth were portrayed as uber paragons of justice in the first game. =P

Compromise. The Quarians NEED their homeworld, and you would've noticed that unless you took Garrus' pole and shoved it in one ear and it came out the other. The geth don't need the planet, but there doesn't need to be war. Obviously. If you've talked to Legion, you'd know the geth just want to understand.

I support Qwib-Qwib's stance on the Geth as well. Additionally, after talking to Legion it sounds like the Geth wouldn't have a problem with giving the Quarians their homeworld back if they just asked nicely and promised to let the Geth go do their Dyson Sphere thing somewhere else in the galaxy without attempting genocide again.

Qwib-Qwib's plan will, I believe, allow the Quarians to resettle their homeland without violence.

I really appreciate his character because he's an antagonist on one hand, being the least likely to support Tali. But on the other hand, he has the most rational (IMO) view regarding the geth.
Going to war would be bad for both sides and the overall coflict with the Reapers, when both sides could serve as allies. The quarians would probably get their asses handed to them like they did in both battles they fought in the game. I ended up gaining the admiral's respect so he'd continue to fight for the peaceful stance.

Yeah, I supported Koris' position on the Geth - he was right. Hopefully things work out - Legion makes it sound like it could be possible. However, I really worry about that e-mail I got from Admiral Morrigan though, err, I mean Admiral Daro'Xen. Umm, did anyone else read that e-mail from her?

My biggest fear is it will take Tali and Legion to make peace it hit allot bumps Tali was raised to hate geth also what happened in ME1 you can't blame her for the feelings it make a understand of what geth can do thou at the time we didn't know they had splintered, I fear even thou Tali does give legion a chance it will take more for her to trust him, And even if we do get them to be .. friendly ((not friends)) to one another, Cleared or not Tali was accused of building/Helping geth that may stain any words she may give.

Oh yes I got that one. I best inform Admiral Loghain of her treachery.

The Geth were portrayed slightly sympathetically in the first game.  They were attacked first after all, with no provocation, so its understandable why they would view organic life as inimical to their existence.  The credit stealing AI you track in the citadel feels the same way, that organics would never let a synthetic live (and its a fairly justifiable conclusion to reach given the general attitude towards AIs).

The second game cements the fact that the only 'bad' guy geth made up about 5-10% of the actual population, all the rest have be caretaking for the Quarian homeworld (since they live in space), waiting for them to become more reasonable since they know the Quarians aren't ready yet for peace.

And while they're waiting, the Quarians are readying for full scale war and creating what basically would be a bioweapon/dirty bomb in our world using live test subjects in its development.

I have a hard time believing another war between the quarians and the geth would result in anything but the extinction of the quarian species. I tried to sway them away from war for their own good, not out of a sense of allegiance to or sympathy for the geth. The geth can clearly take care of themselves. It's the numbskulls on the quarian Admiralty that are going to get their whole race into trouble.

I don't think the problem is "the quarians." That's a fairly prejudicial attitude to take, since not all quarians are eager to go kill geth. Some want to colonize and leave the geth alone. It's just the Admirals.
