Yeah this is all nice, but we all know that neither Koris, or Loghain will be the main Quarian antagonist in ME3...it'll be that crazy **** Xen.

Not to change the subject. But did anyone notice what Qwib-Qwib wanted to change the name to?

Vas Iktomi
Vas Defranzh

Those two sound too much like Vasectomy and Vas Deferens......

I hadn't thought about that actually. He even calls those "respectable" names.

I can no longer take Koris seriously.

They come off.. as Human, I'm sorry but if we as a race were in the quarians shoes we do.. the EXACT same thing it what we been seeing since day 1 we all have a slight fear of losing control of what we made it just are nature and I think if some one built a computer that was aware many would demand it destruction. Aka the matrix =p.

Only difference is, we'd kick ass in the war.

Perhaps but you see were I'm going and why I can't hate quarians it case I see much of humanity in them next to any other race out there, Really quarians even thou one of the most alien in appearances ((I think?)) are more close to humans mentality then any other it why I can't hate them it also why I can understand what they did. Was it right? No not in any shape forum or fashion but then again Do I think we are any better and wouldn't do the same when afraid of losing control, Nope ^^.

Yeah, in fact most species in the game behave similarly to humanity on the whole. Some people like Renegade Shepard and Udina can't see it.

Morrigan, as always, is a ****. Waste of time getting to know. Wish I could have killed her.

I couldn't take him seriously before hand, I respect his ideals.. But his last name is Qwib-Qwib and his suit is hot pink..

Yes.

Kal Reegar is pretty clear that retaking the homeworld will be an ugly process, and the Geth are a life-form that have the right to exist.

indeed but then again, if shep did the Legion loyality mission, then it should just be the Quarians talking to Legion about it.

but then again, they still don't consider the geth to have the right to exist...

It's like Kaidan says in ME1

So maybe another trial quest, but this time you are defending Legion and his right to exist as a sentient being. Be all to kill a Mocking Bird style.

Everyone keeps thinking qwib-qwib is doing the morally right thing, however colonizing another homeworld seems like trying to ignore the quarians past mistakes and start againm taking the easy way out, the true paragon way would be to apologise to the geth, and try and make some form of reparations.

Perhaps. Settling the issue of where the quarians are going to go can come after the call to war gets put down. It's more important to sway the quarians away from war first.

And i'm fairly sure that if he was given the option of peacefully regaining the homeworld, he would take it in a second.
The Quarians have the largest fleet in the galaxy. A mere splinter group of the Geth were able to threaten the combined council races. They learn to get along, they are going to be some seriously powerful allies when the time comes.

I love how Bioware gave us the option to ask about his ship's name, and made sure to include Tali saying, "don't ask about his name!"

I agree with his stance on the Geth, but he was an a**hole.

We'll since this thread was brought back from the dead, I'll jump in and say that I most certainly support Admiral Koris and I hope he leads the charge for peace with the geth. Also, I'd hit it.

.....sigh so funny his name.

BTW, I agre with him a BIT. BUt

.... what I dont agree, is that he wants to just find a new homeworld...means he just wants to run with his tail betwen his legs and force quarians to wait centuries before they can take their suits off.

If he was a true to the goal of peace, he would push for contact with the geth, for some sort of dialogue, the fact he just wants to just run away and hide... makes him more a coward than anything.

Being afraid is not necessarily a bad thing, but at least attempting to talk would be the option.

But he is just as bad as the other, one wants no negotiation and only war, the other wants no negotiation just to run... both extremes.

I want Kal Reegar to be the next admiral, he has seen.... "legion" with me, and trusts Tali. And after hearing the inevitable news that geth platform "legion" helped against collectors, he would be the most balanced mind. I dont feel it when he talks that he has hatred towards the geth.

In the way one kinda supports Cerberus - yes to his overall motives, no to his methods. Like, "in a smaller room with less witnesses I'd grab hold of those tubes coming out of your suit and squeeze until you realize how poorly I receive your attempts to punish members of my crew for your political ideals" kind of no.

But if this is your first night at Qwib-Qwib...you have to qwib. :P

I don't support him at all. I cannot condone any course of action that leaves rogue synthetics free to terrorize the galaxy.

Here is the holy grail of the answear:

In ME3 you recruit nations instead of members, and when you go to the quarians you either sway them away from war or instigate it. Choices choices.

Two games and people still don't learn.

(cough) morons (cough).

Admiral Morrigan is a b*tch and just wants to see Quarians enslaved. Admiral Qwib Qwib has ideals that truly help both species. Admiral Loghain is a good man but his decision for war in such times is not a good idea.

Get your "Qwib-Qwib" lulz out of the way now =p.

But really he seems to be one of the smarter quarians at First I thought he just be another Uldna hiding behind point for power but when you talk to him he actually deeply believes his actions and well after talking to Kal'Reegar ((A odd quarian accent doesn't match the rest)). I can safely say I support them trying a peaceful way I'm also hoping my suggest to Tali during her mission will as well help her lean toward there ideals, I 'd hate to have to pick between tali or chance to make peace between two species.

It's been a while since I played ME2 so I can't remember exactly what he says but I more or less agree with you. My first impressions of him were that I thought he was slimeball ( ironically enough the first charcter that he reminded me of was Udina ), however when you speak to him in private later on he makes a good arguement for how the Quarians should deal with the Geth. He's inteligent, well spoken and does not apear to have an personal agenda. He's probably one of the better ( if not the best ) leaders on the Admirality board.
