If a major expansion pack with a hell of a lot more new content does come out it would be worth paying the regular £14.99 price tag (Past prices I payed on EA Expansion packs).

I would deffiantly go for this also it would be nice to have the DLC included since I do not belive in DLC since my view is its there just to rip customers off and only to charge what should of been in the game.

TL:DR version

Sign this petition if you feel that Mass Effect 2 deserves a proper expansion pack which takes place after the events of the Collector Base in order to further character development and to avoid a “rushed” feeling in Mass Effect 3. Now is the time to do so and Bioware have been known to listen to their community so if enough people show interest in this proposal, I believe it will be successful. Please sign that you are willing to pay for such an expansion pack as Bioware will be more inclined to put it into production, if decent interest is shown.

This expansion pack will be along the lines of Dragon Age Origins: Awakening, with 15+ hours of game play; such as new personal missions, side quests and a proper over-arching story to set up for Mass Effect 3. This is different from traditional DLC as DLC are basically bits and pieces of a story, rarely having any clear coherency. We want a coherent new mission along with post-Collector Base continuation. (I am aware of the “from a free item all the way up to paid stuff and potentially [I don’t like this word] larger packs that tell a big portion of the story” quote from Casey Hudson, but this Expansion Pack is calling for a coherent, major mission.)

Many of us feel that Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games ever, but had too much content which was not fleshed out before the conclusion of the story such as late introduction party members (esp. Legion and Morinth/Samara) and there were very few side stories especially when compared to Mass Effect 1. Also we fear Mass Effect 3 will feel extremely rushed, as they will be too much content to cover (From the Reapers to the new characters to the old characters to the illusive man etc). So we are proposing that Bioware provides a fitting send-off to the cast of Mass Effect 2 and a set-up to the next game which does not feel as rushed as the one in Mass Effect 2. This will make the fans extremely happy and avoid a potentially rushed Mass Effect 3.

Many of us are willing to pay the $30 to $40 dollars and Electronic Arts will make at least a decent profit on such a venture and will satisfy the fans whom are nowas we speak, lusting for more of Mass Effect 2. I will be bumping this thread over the next couple of weeks and sharing my insights, why it makes good sense
to the players and why it makes good commercial sense to Bioware to release such an expansion.

I would drop a chunk of change on a ME2 Expansion. Something similar to DAO: Awaking would be awesome. Maybe taking down a Reaper or two.

I just don't see how Commander Sheppard can take down a whole Reaper army in ME3. When in two games he's only taken down 1 Reaper and a Reaper fetus. Hopefully there will be a ME4 or a lot of expansions in the future.

I'd pay for a ME2 expansion. No problem.

Just let us keep our squad (or at least a nice chunk of them). I was kind of disappointed that Awakening dropped a bunch. After spending a few dozen hours getting to know the crew and earning their loyalty, I would feel kind of cheated if they all disappeared from the crew.

I'd pay money just to have my crew act like we've completed the damn suicide mission, rather than be stuck in this pre-mission loop all the time. Plus I want Ash back on board, dammit!

I'd buy an Expansion Pack for Mass Effect 2 without hesitation.

I want it to be post Collector Base. You can still play after you destroy/keep the Collector Base so I say something important is gonna happen there. You have that Harbinger Datapad. Maybe you'll find a weakness with the Reapers related to Dark Energy or something. Then you would have to deal with the War between the Quarians and the Geths.

It would be something big for an Expansion Pack and I'd definitely buy it. A DLC about Liara dealing with the Shadow Broker would be great too. They get nice DLCs and Expansion Packs to me, I'll buy. Sure thing.

I'd like an expansion pack.

Honestly, I downloaded every extra DLC that was released for ME2, except Zaeed (because I don't like him).
So, I'm not picky about what they release, I'll get it!

But there are a couple of things I'd like to see.

First of all, a skill point increase.

I was only able to max 2 out of 5 skills.
Concussive shot never really mattered to me (I'd have used it if i could have maxed it in addition to the ones following), but I'd like to have maxed out Cryo Ammo, Disruptor Ammo and the Adreniline Rush. Those are currently level 3, Concussive Shot not specced.

As for the squadmates, I was only able to max out their class characteristic and either get all powers at level 3 or two at max and the others non/low specced.

And don't add squadmates that are annoying.

Thats you OPINION both those characters have large fan bases and deserve to be in the game as much as any others.

Also you are a total hypocrite saying you're not choosy and will buy any DLC Bioware churns out but saying that you didn't get Zaeed because you didn't like him. Say they made another squad member you don't like then you won't buy them either. Just sayin'.

I would definitely purchase an expansion pack.

Ideally I'd like it to take place post-Collector base and include all surviving squad mates. I've become very attached to them (some more than others) and after keeping them alive through the suicide misson I would want them to be a part of the expansion.

If someone dies in one of the the suicide missions then obviously that member wouldn't be available in the expansion for that particular Shepard.

It would be interesting for deceased squadmates to be acknowledged, though. I'm planning to lose three of my squadmates in my most recent suicide mission to see how this affects that Shepard import in ME3.

I don't really care about that.
Just because 1001 fans like them doesn't mean I have to.
We're all individuals and we all like or dislike different things.

To clarify, I'm going to be stricter about squadmates then outfits and missions.
Therein lies the difference.

Well, basically, Jack and Zaeed just irritated me.
They didn't have much of a team dynamic and bordered on psychotic or overly violent behavior.
A serious military unit wouldn't tolerate people like this.
Plus, they looked so freaky, it hurt my eyes just to look at them.

So, yes, if they release another crewmember in that style, I'll reject them as well.

Um thats exactly what I was saying. Bioware can continue to support them or release more sqaddies like them though if they choose to. You were saying you wanted them gone.

Someone mentioned ME3 being 6 disks. I'd be so happy if that were the case. I'd love to see a 200 hour ME game. Seriously.

I sign the petition for ME2 Xpac. I also sign the currently nonexistent petition to put ME3 on 6 discs. Baldurs Gate 2 was a perfect length.

Edit: I know BG2 is only four discs, but you get the point.

Although I'd totally love to see that, and how epic that would be, I seriously doubt it will be anything close to that. :P

(ps - I hope I'm wrong)
