If it postpones it to 2013 and beyond, No.
Sorry, I cant sign. I want ME3 to be epic, and if they spend too much time developing an expansion pack, I highly doubt ME3 will be out before 2013.

I'm all for DLC that adds to the game experience though, such as adding one or two more post-suicide mission conversations for each character and some really awesome sidequests. Something that would make the "keep playing after the end" feature of the game feel less tacked on but not leave players who choose not to get the DLC left in the dark when ME3 comes around.

I will pay good money if the expack puts out more story/backstory to better flesh out some of the storyline holes.

Terrible idea. They need to finish ME3 sooner rather than later.
yeah but would you rather ME3 feel rushed and the ME2 cast gets thrown to the side? Think about it, lets say 3 characters come back from ME1 and 4-5 come back from ME2. Then the remaining characters are cameos. That would be horrible as i felt that you barely got to know some of the characters in ME2 before the game ends. Id be happy to wait another 5-6 months for them to get ME3 than be disappointed that some of my favorite characters get glossed over in the sequel due to time constraints. And its a win-win as in the expansion, the ME2 characters and story can be expanded upon.
Signed, for this reason. Takes the load off ME3, allowing for a satisfying conclusion to the story.
Yes I would pay for it as well.

I would pay serious $$$ for kick-ass DLC like that. Maybe a 4 hour DLC that involves helping out Thane by finding a way to heal him? Like the OP said, we don't want this type of stuff rushed in ME3. Rather release DLC that brings closure to some of the lesser problems in the galaxy, so that Bioware can focus on the meat of the story in ME3 (while also introducing some more interesting side quest stuff of course!) He he

I'm not sure about the idea of an expansion pack. If they give us too much, then it might conflict with the continuity of ME3 because not everyone is going to buy and play an expansion pack. Expansion packs are probably better left for ME3.

only if the expansion deals with the pure Geth and the Quarians. solving that problem deserves quite a bit of attention and i would not want to see it crammed into some minor side quest in ME3.
Agreed.

I wouldn't mind an expansion which could clear like 80-90% of the endings and lay a basis for ME3.
