Ah ok, i though there was no date, other than 2011. But yeah, if its something ME related, early 2011, its probably an expansion. It could be a PS3 version, but i doubt it.gandersen1043 wrote...
Yah, but ME3 not coming out in the beginning of next year and they made it seem like something is coming out early next year.mundus66 wrote...
It could be ME3, if it comes out at the end of 2011 it would be like 2 years after ME2. Big games usually take 2 years, unless the team is to small or they have to redo everything from scratch a couple of times in the development.gandersen1043 wrote...
Well EA did say that something big for the mass effect universe was coming out next year, so it could be an expansion, which would be great to further the story leading into epic ME3.

Still not convinced that announcement isn't regarding Mass Effect gracing PS3.
That would most certainly suck......................

Bioware has consistently denied any PS3 planning for Mass Effect. They have in fact said that the hooks that are found in the code are due to the engine used to build Mass Effect. They are standing by the exclusive tag and that is fine for me as I bought an Xbox in part for the fact they were developing content for it.

I will buy all DLC related to Mass Effect regardless of its length, quality or price. Do you hear me, BioWare?

I recall an interview w/ Casey Hudson in which he said that while BioWare could do an full blown expansion, (ala DA:O Awakenings) they had no current plans to do so. It would all be DLC.

They can have mass effect 2 on ps3 so long as we get heavy rain. Anyway it will probably suck on ps3..

Don't get me wrong... I LOVED both ME1 and ME2. The only thing I wish I had more knowledge of was why and how. Yes we are told that we are stopping a threat to humanity - but why the human reaper? We have speculation at best. How - one ship and one base - how is this a threat to humanity? Again I loved ME2, but in ME1 there was no guesswork... we learned why and how.

I'll buy any content released for ME2. It's my hope it will have a little substance to it with some depth. I would pay over $20 for a decent expansion, especially if it sort of worked as a conclusion for ME2 and set the stage for ME3. Something not just off to the side, but relevant and having implications to the ME universe.
/Signed with gratitude for making such a great game
PS Just please don't make another pinnacle station. I spent $5 on it and afterwords thought the money would have been better spent on toilet paper.
