Agreed. Seeing how she's the only character at this point who HAS to live, no matter what, I think her chances of having a large role are good.

Hopefully, this being the finale will also mean her plot armor will finally be removed. Waiting three games could make finally killing her off all the sweeter in a way

Yes as much as I would absolutely hate to see her die, no one at all should have unobtainium plot armor in the third game.

Well I disagree, Liara should be unable to be killed, she is too important and BioWare knows it. It's funny, because all of the other LI fans got such a problem with Liara being plot armored. I love it. She can't die. IF so, it will be in the third game, which is something no other LI in the series can say (that their LI can survive all the way to ME3 and there is no one and nothing that can be done about it, hehe), I just had to rub that in. This is one thing we Liara shippers will always be able to hold over the haters.

Either way, she will obviously live in my playthrough, so that is all that matters anyway. Oh Liara... *stares longingly in space*

She would certainly live in mine as well. My Shepard and Liara are going to live happily together after the defeat of the Reapers for as long as Shepard's partially cybernetic body holds out.

As long as we have a choice, Liara won't die in my game. I would hate it though if there a ME1 scenario again, and she must die. I just hope BioWare doesn't choose to kill her based off the fact she is the only one who hasn't died.

I'd buy any DLC with Liara in it as well. I'm a sucker for Liara. I changed my ringtone on my iPhone to the love theme form ME1 and a screencap of Liara from ME2 is my new wallpaper on my iPhone. I'm showing my love for Liara everywhere I go.

Well, they already said she would be coming back for ME3. We just don't know if she will be a squad member or not. That's why we have this thread, so that the dev's know we want her back as a full squaddie (as well as being able to continue our romance )

Personally, I hope that everyone gets their wishes and all possible romances can be continued in ME3. I know there are people who love Ash/Kaiden as much as we love Liara, and there are obviously a lot of people now attatched to the ME2 romances. So I hope that everyone will get a little love somehow in ME3 [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/love.png[/smilie]

No no no no no! Actually saving her from Shadow Broker could happen in ME3...in that way she will see how much she meant to our Shepard and they have a really emotional loving reunion at the end and she rejoins the Normandy. Yay!

I'd personally rather see that as an expansion pack (not a little 1 mission DLC) so that come ME3 we can focus our full attention on the Reaper threat where it should be.

If they don't kill Liara off in ME3, they can always use her character down the road in other Mass Effect related spin offs.  Liara's only 108 and can live to be almost one thousand years old.   If some one writes an ME novel that is set 300 years in the future, Liara can still be in it.  Maybe not as a major player, but  just as a 'cameo'.  This would provide long-term ME fans who read that novel with a charater they are familiar with... even in an ME setting that takes place well after Commander Shepard is dead and gone.
