Stealth pessimism.  It's probably b/c I've been playing as an Infiltrator too much (it's my new favorite class).

Back in the days when I played Sentinel, my pessimism was more open and honest.

My Shepard would still let Liara use the room (because she's totally Liara's b*tch) and while they were 'borrowing' the room,  she would go down to the crew level, eat a bunch of food and find someone's shoulder to cry on.

I was experimenting with it and appearently I shot a bit too close. I survived, but Miranda and Garrus both needed a hell of a lot of medigel

I'd burn the game disc with a flamethrower, and then write a strongly worded coughpoisonedcough letter to the BW heads.

I thought I read somewhere when the comic was coming out that it would tie into ME2 as DLC later on, so maybe thats what that sound file everyone is talking about is related too.



I totally want Liara on my team for ME3! T.T my femshep missed her. . .

Liara's absence in ME2 casts a huge shadow over the rest of the game.  For all of the game's advancements and improvements, having to play without her in my squad made it a far less enjoyable experience.

I think the Shadow Broker needs to be taken care of in DLC. Otherwise I fear it will feel like an unrelated episode inside ME3. ME3 really has to be about the imminent Reaper threat - the Shadow Broker seems like he pales in comparison to that.

I just think they needed to develop Liara's character about 5x better within ME2 for to her be believable - as it stands she is not. There are too many holes, too many questions the player cannot ask. Also, it's not feasible to assume people will read the comics, because most people probably will not.
A well done DLC could definitely alleviate many of the issues, though.

I think it is somehow related. The SB and the reapers are indeed connected if you look at the comic. The collectors want Sheperd, we now know the collectors are controlled by the reapers. The SB was working to help the COllectors, I'd say perfect tie in. So I am now singing to a different tune as it relates to if the Liara DLC will finish the SB story line. I now doubt it.

I would be absolutely stunned if Liara weren't a squad mate in M3.



As far as her personality goes, it's pretty clear that Liara is still growing as a character. She was incredibly innocent/naive in ME1. In ME2 she's swung too far the other way becoming obsessive and borderline paranoid (though perhaps she has to be given who she's fighting). I'm pretty sure we'll see a more mature character with a balanced personality in ME3.
