She will be. that was the whole point of not allowing her to come with you on the suicide mission, she is needed in ME3 plot

Liara was the "light through window in the dark" in ME1 and when i played ME2 i missed this light. I hope she will be back in ME3 as squadmate and LI too.

When i read this thread for the first time i was worried about the redemption comic and a possibly Liara's LI for Feron. But like we know all the truth in ME2, i think it will not happen.  Liara risked her life to get Shepard's body and signed a pact with devil to ressurect him. It would be strange then if feron was a LI, she didn't do something to find him or his body as she did for Shepard during 2 years... If it happens, writers will ruin all Liara personnality because how explain she fell in love for someone else and in same time try to save the person she loves and then do nothing for the new lover because the old one is or will be back. she would be  then a bad and evil person who plays only with people's feelings then. And we all know Liara is at the opposite of that....

And how explain the kiss when you meet her on Illium if you have a LI from ME1?

I think the reason Feron was even a possibility for Liara to cheat on Shepard with was because, besides the kiss, there is no difference whatsoever to the way she treats Shepard if he/she was or wasn't a LI.
If BW included something that shows she thinks about you differently when your her LI (an I love you), it would have put people's minds at ease.
I agree that it does not seem likely that after going through all that to get Shepard back, she would immediately cheat on him/her even though she knows Shepard can be revived.

Hi all, just posting to give this thread my full support. Liara was without a doubt my favourite ME character and I was seriously annoyed and disappointed with how small her role was in 2, and how the game hardly acknowledges the romance between her and Shep, and you aren't even given an option to express love for her. Liara is a great character, and I grew really attached to her in the original game. Here's hoping for at least some Liara DLC with an ability to continue the romance.



Also, I'd hate hate HATE it if Redemption created some kind of romance between Liara and that drell. It's obvious Shepard is the one she cares about, and in the original game the way she spoke about her attraction to Shepard was like it was something deeply special to her. A relationship with that drell would destroy her character.



But yes, MOAR LIARA please.

I have to admit, that was one thing that really made me question BioWare's motives for Liara.
In this first game, she makes it seem that once Shepard romances her they are a couple for life.
Now, she doesn't seem to remember saying that.
I hope Bioware answers the call for some Liara DLC, don't make us wait!
Imma have to go Corporal Jenkins on them if they don't. (no clue what that means).

As much as I like Miranda, and I really do, she doesn't hold a candle to Liara. Liara just has so much more of everything IMO. Sex appeal, Maturity (given she's an Asari), more mystery, innocent (in a good way), and very alluring. To add to that, her personality is much better (minus to facade she is putting on in ME2) and the way she carries herself, she is very confident in a good way and have always been. Nothing against Miranda though.
