Bah, let's not use the brainless kiddie playground nickname Jack made up for her, like the petulant kid she sometimes regresses to. I like Miranda. She's no Liara, but I do grade her above every other ME2 squaddie. Including the two returning ones from ME1 (but my liking for them has waned rather dramatically for reasons I won't go into here).

Should any ME2 squaddies have such a role again in ME3, I'll be crossing my fingers for her, Mordin, and Samara/Morinth. All good troops.

I don't dislike her personality, and imo her mission is one of the best.
But Mordin beats all of the new crew.

And Liara is the best

Not that I ever would cheat on Liara (I simply can't, there's an epic force compelling me not to at every turn), but FemShep doesn't have a great deal of options anyway. And even if there were, there is only Liara. As it should be.

She was all alone for ( I think) 60 years digging up artifacts so she has a lot of built up stuff  to let out lol. After all those years alone  she is not letting her man go to easy.

I can not bring myself to cheat on Liara either. I already had planned to have my Shep stay loyal to her even before she drops the bomb about being the reason Shep is still alive but knowing that I'd feel like a total douche for cheating on her.

I imported my only Shep that didn't romance Liara in ME1 so I could try the romance out with Jack and once my Liara loving Shep gets through my insanity playthrough the same Shep will be cheating on Ash with Miranda because she's totally grown on me.

I couldn't cheat on Liara, either. Hell, I almost completely ignore Miranda, Jack and Tali as I've heard how easy it is to accidentally flirt with them, which causes Liara's picture to be turned face down, and I couldn't bear to see that.

My Liara pic is always faced up.

I just don't talk to anyone until Kelly tells me they want to see me or to ask them for upgrades.  You don't really miss out on much by not talking to them.
