The days until Liara DLC can seem bleak.
But, can you imagine that we will look back at days like today and laugh about the Liara scene in ME2.
Because when the day comes that we get our massive Liara DLC, that is the world I want to live in.
So pick up the pace BioWare! (I know we have to wait until the rest of the comics come out but I may as well say it).
Anyway, my opinion on the Liara DLC would probably have her returning to normal (or near) after the SB situation is solved. As several people have noted, she has no particular reason to be angry after the situation is resolved.
Even in the ME2 Liara scene there are bits of the old personality in there, I agree it is most likely a facade she puts on because of her whole situation with being an information broker. This could be a possible indicator to the possibility of the renegade/paragon choice that will decide her demeanor forever.
There as always seemed to be a lead into something that had to do with the SB since ME1, at least we know what it will be because of Liara and the way she acts.
Even the way Casey talks about her even when the question is just about ME1 LIs in general, I believe means she has not and will not be forgotten.
Unfortunately, because of the writers trying make her seem like a hardened cold-blooded killer, they now have to think of even harder on how to make the Liara DLC perfect.
I honestly thought that a more practical approach would have had Liara going back to studying the protheans in Shepard's absense. Not that she is a child and knows nothing about the galaxy, I just thought she would have gone back to doing what she enjoyed to deal with Shepard's absense.
I guess they had to make one of the characters find Shepard's body (although it does shows how much Liara cares about Shepard as well), BioWare probably could have just had cerberus find Shepard's body and left Liara out of the picture.
Even though BioWare could have had cerberus find Shepard's body without the help of Liara, we Liara lovers now have a Massive Liara-based DLC coming. So I guess great unexpected things can come out of a seemingly negative situation.
I am going to end this off with an I Love you Liara!

(in this regard we apparently have to do Shepard's job for now, lol).
