I havent even ported my single shep over yet. Working on my 4th playthrough now. Still need insanity, biotic combo achievement, and paramour. I wont be suprised if I get the love one last.

Thats very true and it sucks because I cant get in to playing a female character for some reason. With that said I think Meer have improved his VO from ME1 quite a bit.

I read people saying Meer improved so I was quick to load up a male Shepard but even from the opening scene it's clear to me that Hale is still vastly superior.  Hale sounds like a Commander taking control of a crisis.  Meer sounded like he was sleeping.

To my ears Meer drifts between bored and doing a bad John Wayne accent.

Well it's good then that Hale is around so you can get a satisfying game experience as well :happy:

Grr... Playing Noveria in ME1 now. The other squaddies mostly comment about all the snow and bad weather when talked to, whereas Liara expresses quite a bit of distaste for "the world of secrets and lies". Guess that Liara is now dead and replaced by the abominable UnLiara who is all about secrets and lies...

The only thing thats missing in every game is the old loveable Liara

Loveable AND huggable !!!
If there was a good situation for a hug interrupt it was there ! And also for Kai and Ash !

The more I think about it, the more a want to go back and play ME1 again and see TrueLiara, still got a few achievements to pick up anyways.

She may have entered that world for Shepard's sake, but by the time s/he catches up with Liara, our once sweet asari chum seems pretty content to stay there. She has utterly lost the sight of the big picture, just like the council did. I see nothing heartwarming in their mutual cold acceptance of that situation. Shepard-in-love-with-Liara's non-reaction to the whole issue is even more depressing, since it makes me question if s/he even loves Liara now, or ever did. S/he just calmly thanks Liara for the "rescue", because his/her current Cerberus mission is so important. Such a romantic reunion...

Could be wrong but doesn't Liara get Shepard's body back before she starts becoming mini-Shadow Broker?  I'm pretty sure she got into that game to get revenge (probably) for Ferret .

Indeed. We don't know yet why she didn't bother to inform Anderson and Kaidan/Ash about what happened to Shep's remains. It better be good, tho...

I'm actually -not- going to get the paramour achievement at all this time i think.

To me it seems that Liara is the closest thing to a "canon" LI for Shepard, and that screenshot only strengthens it further.

I think it's very likely Liara will be a squadmate in ME3. In a way it's a good thing she's not one in ME2. That way she couldn't die on the Collector ship and is the only member from ME1 that can't die beacuse of various choices done by Shepard.

Quite smart move. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up in the squad.

We shall see... If Tali and Garrus once again are recruitable squaddies in ME3, that dev claim will lose its meaning.
