Thanks to the one who mentioned recuva, I was able to get at least a smal part of the screenshots back. It's still very sad, I lost most of my shots. Plus a few edited ones, I idiotically left in that folder -.- But a few are better then none.
Stupid me. Why did I have to uninstal the char-maker? *grml*
All screenshots wiped. W.T.F...

Then after ya lose your Program Files folder, ya stick ya USB Flash Drive into your USB Port, go into it, & re-copy the Bioware Folder back into the My Documents Folder. That's the point. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work? (I ask this seriously. I'm attempting to be helpful, but I don't claim to know all.)EJ42 wrote...
Well...not if others are saying it can delete your entire Program Files folder...Tyrax Lightning wrote...
Back-up your Bioware file with a USB Flash Drive. It's the kinda thing ya don't wanna lose.
Hope I helped. I also offer condolences for the victims.
(Ponders if it would also be a good idea to uninstall the CC 1st before installing the main game...)

I'm glad to hear you had at least some success, Trent.
There's no reason that wouldn't work, Tyrax.

I've been playing with my USB Flash Drives & am liking having some of my files (Especially the all important Wallpapers
) safe & secure in a back-up location! I recommend this practice! (& remember to peridotically refresh & maintenance the backups!)

I've just unintalled the Character Creator and lost all my screenshots, this is completely stupid. Thank you Bioware, I will certainly remember that one.

FOUND A FIX!! for Windows 7 users (and maybe vista, this I don't know), right click on the parent folder of your deleted 'screenshots' folder (ie my documents>bioware>dragon age), and click 'restore previous versions'. Select a 'previous version' that you would like restored (it even lets you preview what folders are there) and start the restoration. Might take awhile ( I had abt 1.5gb to restore and I wasnt even at landsmeet yet) but it works!! Now I have all my screens back and no data lost!! Windows has finally done something very very right for once.
