I saw on youtube that you will recieve an email from your love interest which will activate your com so you can call them up to your cabin. I tried this on both my play throughs. One where my love interest was Garrus the other with Kelly. The option to click the comm never activated and I didn't recieve any emails. I tried landing at omega then coming back on the Normandy to see if the email or com ability would apear and it never did. I tried omega on both play throughs. No, I didn't romance anyone else on the Kelly play through and I did save her obviously lol.
Is this after game content just for the pc version? Am I glitched and doomed to never see Kelly dance except on youtube?
Can't call up kelly or other love interests after the final mission

I'm wanting to know this too. I've been flirting with her all game, had dinner, then hit the relay.

I just don't understand why I don't get the email. I did everything right. Flirted every single chance I got I literally spoke with her after every single mission, I said I would embrace her if she fell which the guide says you must do and I saved her. Yet, no email.
No option to call up garrus either. I'm working on my 3rd play through maybe I'll be able to call up my next love interest. I just thought it was weird that it's not working for me with two different characters.

I romanced Tali, and finished the game(everyone but Mordin survived) and never got an email or anything, and when I go talk to her she keeps saying old dialog from before the love scene.

If you romance Tali, there's no email, the 'intercom' next to your private terminal (Captain's cabin) just becomes active and you can call her up.
As for Kelly, i believe one does need to break up with the 'regular' love interest for her to become 'available' (to call up).

See with kelly I had no other love interest. The picture of Liara is still up on my desk and I just never advanced that dialog option with anyone else. Yet, no email
No com when I romanced Garrus either.

one thing that bothers me is the emails are pretty much useless, I got one from Dr Michel from ME1 stressing the point that she really wanted to speak to Garrus, as well with other emails from characters involved in the way I went through ME1 and requesting to speak with either characters on my crew or Shepard(Shepard's mother asked him to contact her) and it's not like going to the comms room in ME1 there is just nothing, no options regarding these things at all. It feels like a cheap way of showing some form of continuity between ME1 and 2, like when a character asks you to hit them up next time you're on the Citadel, you go there and nothing at all lol. I'd rather them not had any emails at all regarding characters from ME1, or at least set it up with a dialog type of option in some form of a reply to that character. Hell if they're going to put Fist in AfterLife on Omega to have 2 lines to say to you then you'd think there would be characters with more involvement in ME1 like the Consort, or Dr Michel. Wouldnt have to be some huge scene just something there you know? On a side note where is my beer the Noveria Internal Affairs chick promised me after I completed Gaining Access to Peak 14?

I actually came across this person and she did have a drink for me, leaving a note behind as well. She was on Illum before you go up to talk to Liara. It all depends on how you treated her in ME1 too.

I didnt get the option to *invite* Tali up to my room untill after I had wrapped up the tet-eh-tet with Miranda. It seems you need to talk to your crew and make the final decisions before you get the intercom activated. Its easy to miss.Just tell the ones you dont want that there isnt any chance.

I decided not to take the "we could relieve stress" option with Garrus, and Jacob and Thane have no more dialogue at all for me after congratulating me on the final mission, they just tell me to talk to them later, so I can't think of any further way to tell them I'm not interested.

I'm also sharing this frustration. Could it have something to do with the difficulty setting?

Could it have something to do with importing a Shepard? My first Shepard I imported from ME1 and my second play-through I used the Shepard I had just finished the game with. Both times, the com in my room was never activated for my love interest. Tali, nor Kelly.

I had this issue initially (immediately after end game). What I did was that I did a tour of the Normandy all over again and chatted with the team. Then came back up to cabin and the option to call up your LI or Kelly became available.

Re: Kelly -
From what I've seen, after the final mission, you talk to her once and the intercom in your quarters becomes active so you can call her up.
She's not like the other romantic options in the game as she doesn't "replace" your love interest from ME1 (Liara or Ashley's photo stays up on your desk when you romance just her). Also noted that any hint on your part that she may be out of line flirting with you makes her immediately go full-on professional and there's nothing you can do to continue flirting/romancing her past that point.

Sexed up garrus on my first playthrough and kept kelly sweet at all times and was still able to call her up after the endgame despite still being 'with' garrus
From speaking with friends who have had issues getting her to play nice after the game has finished - seems like even missing a single unique dialouge convo with her will stop her whoring out sadly ( she has one for each new recruit etc )
