Yeah I have mobile 3G internet modem for when I am away at work. It costs $15/month for 200MB with excess at 0.25c per meg. Thats why I bought retail so I didn't have to download anything.

my god are you retarded, your like that guy who used his cell for a modem and run up $20,000 CAD in bandwidth charges.

edit: miss-quote

There's your issue. Don't use 3G for anything other than serfing. Especially don't download with a 200MB limit in the age of 8mb/s internet.

It cost you because you assumed something you shouldn't have.

I do only surf the internet with it. That is what it is for.

You also apparently download DLC for video games with it. Or at least that's what I thought you were ranting about.

Please don't lies as I installed it from 1 DVD and it
says the game folder is 15GB not 20gb+

take a look at documents folder. there is a reason why the back of the box says 20gb+

I didn't want to wait 4 days to play this awesome game

Then why are you complaining? DLC is extra. If you couldn't wait 4 days for it is is only you to blame. You clearly stated you didn't want to download anything cause of the 200mb limit, then proceeded to do just that. None of the DLC is required to play the game and if you were downloading wardens keep it lists the size of the file before you purchase it.

No it isn't I chose the Only ISP with great service coverage. We don't get tethering in our country.

If you read the first post then you might

that information. I have been waiting now for about 4 hours for that
content to go from the downloaded tab to the install tab.

I pay £17 for 24mb ADSL+ from Be Internet here in Blighty. No Download Limits and even the companies that do ahve download limits don't charge (only throttle your connection if it gets flagged). If you're using mobile broadband it sucks to be you but you really should ahve read there usage policy. 320mb is a reasonable amount for Warden's Keep/Stone Prisoner etc. DLC Loot must be less.

? Bro Story DLC are always 300+ get out of your shack and stop crying.

Thats not true. With DOW2 there was barely any download to unlock the special bonus items it was installed with the dvd.

And in DOW2, the unlockables were just a small 1v1 map no one played, extra painter colours you could add yourself if you knew how to edit a text file, and maybe some tiny accessory models... that I recall anyway. I don't believe it came with Chaos Rising hidden in a wayward zip file.

Ok, if you have a limited download capacity at work & you chose to go over your download limit then it is your own **** fault. Maybe you should take some responsibility for you own screw up.
Now that I've said that... that totally blows & it sucks but I bet you pay more attention to your bandwith limites in the future Image IPB

It was wrong to assume that the DLC was going to be small based on DLC sizes from other games. I mean, SFIV had tiny DLC files since the actual content was already installed on your PC, but that should have no bearing in making assumptions on how big a DLC file would be for a relatively new game.

I pay $55 a month for 16mbps up and 2 mbps down. If I have a limit I havnt hit it yet. (And seeing as I downloaded about 30 gigs in the last month, and uploaded God only knows how much, I think I would have).

My point is, 200 megs a month for $15 is Obscene. You are getting royaly screwed my friend.

My ISP doesn't have a limit . . . and has a 11 (roughly) mbps download with with an upload of 7 (roughly) mbps. I can fully understand why you're upset, but it really is your ISP's fault for having a draconian approach to broadband . . . overage charges in this day and age are A. Greedy and B. Outdated. You and your local community need to organize and confront your various service providers, and make sure they understand that this approach is outright unacceptable in this day and age.

Just thought this needed repeating, it's right there in the 'vital statistics' type bit at the top of the description.

You are in grievous error with regard to technical issues. No, the voice acting, textures, and whatnot are not on the disc for these particular "expansions". That is why they're labeled as DLC (Downloadable Content). If you thought you could do anything than browse the simplest of sites with a 200MB cap, you were sorely mistaken. YouTube alone will use up 200mb in 10 minutes. If your download cap was so low, and the overusage charges were so high, then you should have done the proper research beforehand. You seem to have no problem to complain incessantly on these forums, so it would seem you should have been able to simply ask how big the downloads were.

Nevermind the fact that the download size is listed when you click the item.

Your ignorance. Your loss.

Klownkill,

If you have bough an isp plan for a 200 Mb qouta per month, then it is your purely your own fault for downloading the DLC and going over your quota. Should have taken an internet service that has no monthly limit. You also knew you had 35 mb left and when selecting the downloadable content, it tells you how large it is. So it once again, is your own fault.

Also, 300+ mb is more then acceptable for downloadable content. In this time and age that is pretty much the bare minimum for games like mass effect and dragon age, specially on the pc.

3g lines are also meant for phones and notebooks for just internet surfing, they are not meant to be downloading excessivly on.

So lets get this straight

You thought Wardens keep etal was already part of the game just needing unlocking?

I have no idea why you would think this but that is the only thing that explains your "So you are saying that the voice acting and texture are not installed from the dvd?" comment

But anyway

YOU couldn't wait to play the game

YOU downloaded the dlc ignoring the size indicator on the download page.

You didnt wait and didnt check the size, you also ignored the time it was taking. Bioware did nothing here Im sorry to say its your fault.
