I'm asking because I'm making a world map of places I never ever ever ever ever want to go...
If you can even GET an internet connection that slow, whereever you live is one of them.
For christ sake, my phone has quicker and cheaper internet. Much quicker and much cheaper.
You seriously cannot blame game company's for obviously either getting screwed by your ISP or living in the stone age.
320MB is miniscule, that's a 2 minute download right there.

Why in the world did you think they where gonna be so small? They're like mini-expansion packs unless you just stick to unlocking items. The modules have custom content.. and I assume are fully voice acted like the rest of the game. Sound and music always equate to large file sizes.
On top of all that it does state exactly how big each DLC download is in the in game menu... before you download it.

There's your issue. Don't use 3G for anything other than serfing. Especially don't download with a 200MB limit in the age of 8mb/s internet.
It cost you because you assumed something you shouldn't have.
You downloaded downloadable content. That is not "surfing".

All of it is optional....
I also love how everyone who is ragging on you is suddenly a troll...considering you were the original troll on the forums.
It still amazes me that people can make idiotic mistakes and have this inability to admit its their own fault.

Going with an internet provider with a download limit is FOLLY if you plan on playing any modern game. Jesus most patches are over 100mb these days.
And unless you've been living in a village on Easter Island for the last 3-4 years you'd realise that 320mb is NOTHING.
This is on you klownkill, no one else.

Dude, I pay $180 / month (cable + HD + DVR + HBO) and 8 mbps dl speed. No download limit. I thought I was getting violated. Your ISP takes the cake though. I've never heard of such a ridiculous thing!
Ouch, what kind of service do you have? I have Uverse and pay only $92/month for unlimited 6mb, 200 channel HD, (all TV's have DVR). The $180 seems very high.

you expected 10 megs?? seriously did you take a look at the contents? you think you can get whole new areas dialogue and everything in 10 megs? of course it takes some spaceklownkill wrote...
Bioware have made me angry. I downloaded my 2 DLC items from the game downloader and because of the huge size 320MB+ That has cost me almost $80 just for 2 unlocks in game from excess data usage. This is a discrace. There should be some warning that the file is large. I was expecting no more then 10mb per activation item

320mb is... well, relatively
small, really. I'm not sure what kind of games you're used to, but, uh,
modern games are huge. Graphics and audio take up an awful amount of
space, and BioWare aren't slacking with either.
size of the game. I have a monthly download quota of 200MB/month as I
am at work and won't be home till monday, Bigpond charge 25cent/MB
excess. I had 35MB left before I got the Download content. So its my isp's fault that dragon age unlockables are 300MB( Very confused now)Poleaxe wrote...
It's your ISP you should be angry at.Why not include it on the DVD?Nizel138 wrote...
If you thought that each dlc
would be 10MB then obviously you neglected to research them. Warden's
keep is in a new zone, the cinematics alone are higher than 10 megs.

so you went over your internet
usage and your blaming bioware, man you suck.
where else please unless you have something useful.
Your biggest mistake is being with Bigpond. I highly advise you get a new ISP like internode (www.internode.on.net) Bigpond and Telstra are the devil. It's your own ignorance that is at fault here.

In this day and age game downloads aren't usually very small, that's a given, even still the download isn't excessively large by anyones standards so why would Bioware need to give a warning? Like you said, your work int was chosen for coverage, not so you could downloads things?

You knew your plan and still downloaded it even though it displayed the size.
I fail to see the bit where bioware put a gun to your head and forced you to download it via 3G.
Personal responsibility - take it and stop whining.
S: I'd have felt robbed at the size if the DLC's had been any less.

Thats not true. With DOW2 there was barely any download to unlock the special bonus items it was installed with the dvd.
Something that comes on a DVD is not downloadable content. In case you didn't know, DLC means DownLoadable Content.

Now, klown mate, if you did go into the DLC menu, actually saw the size and didnt stop it... I'm sorry, but i don't think it's Bioware's duty to warn you about download sizes, just because you assumed they would be small because of the DLC in another game from another company etc etc.
And yes, two of the DLC parts (Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep) have new areas, new voice parts, even a new character... So that's gonna take up some space.
