Since BioWare has been working on the DLC since March, they are understandably quite large.
Hope that helps clarify matters for you.

So whos fault is it for not noticing that is says 330mb in it's info window?
And also can I just ask - Who the hell uses mobile broadband for downloading game related files?

Anyway, what it said was...
You do know that the info page for the DLC actually tells you what the file size is, don't you?
Whos fault is it that you didn't knotice that it said quite clearly that it was 330mb?
Also, who the hell uses mobile broadband for downloading game files?

The DLC packs are not included on the DVD, they are bonus content freely given to everyone, only those who bought the game originally.
All the data is in the download, all the animations, sounds, everything.
The DLC content for DoW II was a few items, the same items for DA: O were also tiny, the new area on the other hand...

There's your issue. Don't use 3G for anything other than serfing. Especially don't download with a 200MB limit in the age of 8mb/s internet.
It cost you because you assumed something you shouldn't have.
Didnt you just say you downloaded content using the same service??? That is NOT simply "surfing"..........
The Larger issue here is YOUR inability to accept your personal responsibility for choosing a bad ISP, or a bad plan from your ISP or YOUR making a bad decision downloading content on said bad ISP/ISP Plan.
Dude, wake thehell up and stop blaming others for your horrid decisions ..... time to grow up and be a man now. Its people like you, who try to blame everyone else for your problems, that make the world a less desirable place..... I vomited in my mouth a little just reading your thread, sir.
Have a nice day...

Yeah I have mobile 3G internet modem for when I am away at work. It costs $15/month for 200MB with excess at 0.25c per meg. Thats why I bought retail so I didn't have to download anything.Chris_Really_Rocks wrote...
Dude, I pay $180 / month (cable + HD + DVR + HBO) and 8 mbps dl speed. No download limit. I thought I was getting violated. Your ISP takes the cake though. I've never heard of such a ridiculous thing!
Are you friggin serious?? Using mobile net access for content DL?? Those access plans are made mostly for wap and easy, low graphics browsings or occational ringtones, NOT for serious surfing and downloads fo big files. You ahve noone but yourself to blame here realy. If potential cost was a problem you should ahve done some research before starting the DLs (and considdering the size of the game how could ever think that entire new zones with lots of extra materials and questrs etc would be as small as 10MB???).
There's nothing wrong or abnormal about the DLC file sizes, they are pretty normal for today and blaming Bio for your poor research, incorrect use of net servcie etc is just plain ridiculous.

It's wankers like you that ruin my day, and I work for an ISP.
Don't enter in to a plan if you don't plan to honor your limits just to save a buck because you're a cheap arse who doesn't want to get a better job.

1. U didnt want to wait to play the game.. well, you can start the game without the dlc content and install it later... wont matter as you will encounter it anyway a little bit later...
2. about the warning.. u should have read the information about the dlcs... how big they are is right there

Why not include it on the DVD?
Wow, Just Wow..... Why was the 'DOWNLOADABLE' content not on the DVD. Can you stop there for a minuite and say this out loud with and emphasis on the Downloadable part.
Lets ask yourslef the question again.
Why was the 'DOWNLOADABLE' content not on the DVD?
Who needs the comedy channel when you have access to internet forums.

i pay £18 a month for 8MB and unlimited downloads. Each month I download in excess of 80GB a month, I dont understand how anyone can live with only 200MB a month in this day and age

My question is... If 320 MB of data is an $80 excess data penalty how long did that take? That sounds like aol level of bs.
