As good as it may be, not being able to see shepards expressions really take away from the game in my opinion. I tried to deal with it, but when Shepard took a shot(drink) through his metal face plate I couldnt wear the armour any longer. If only we could remove the helm. but anyways, anyone use it?
Does anyone use Dragon Blood Armour?

I did use it on my first character up until the very spot you're talking about, when he drank through the helmet, it made me laugh out loud at the poor lazy programming.

It's good for Insanity. At that stage, you go for functionality first, and screw the looks.

I've only used the DLC armor during side missions. I love the look of the Blood Dragon armor on FemShep.
Hm...The Flotilla is another instance where I chose to use DLC armor, though.

I don't have it, but after one play through with the Inferno armor I stopped using it for the same reason. I am yet to hear a good explanation why the helmet can't be removed.

I do, but it's my second play through and I'm trying to be as ruthless as possible to everyone but my squad mates. I use it because it allows me to justify my evil actions because no one knows who I am! Oh, and it looks bad a**.

I have the Collectors, Terminus, Blood, and inferno armours.....and NEVER use them. Mainly...you cant customize anything on them, not even a simple adjusting of the colour. And another thing I dislike; you can't take off the helmets.

I use it when I want to feel like boba Fett. Just going around in armor all day is pretty fun. Also listening to my Characters Voice through the transmitter in the helmet is pretty cool as well. Maybe not as engaging as using the standard armor, but I still find some fun in it. Personally Hated the Terminus armor. It just looks so ugly to me. But that is just me. But I digress, I wear the Blood Dragon Armor most of the time.

Yep not being able to remove the helmet during cut scenes was the primary reason i do not use the DLC ot xtra armor sets. That and the fact that i can not customize it color wise. It is a shame really.

i use it on the Flotilla since it's a full body sealed suit which is what meant to wear on the Flotilla

i would if you could take off the helmet.

yep, have them all as well, never use them. the 'all or nothing' w/ the helmets is a no go for me. "working as intended" says the ME2 devs, while the Dragon Age devs snicker and point.

Tali and Legion loyalty missions, the Collector ship, and IFF keep your helmet on anyway. (A couple others too, I think.) So use 'em there.

I disagree, went through insanity on first playthrough with normal armour. Barrier is my LI in that game

Yeah, that actually prevented me from using most of the helmets of the game as well (i was stuck with the visor). In any case the lack of customizable part simply make special one-piece armors useless after a while.

I used the Collectors armor.. Didn't like the inferno stats or the blood dragon stats. Once I found the Death Mask tough I switched to that.

I used it the whole game, was pretty darn cool lookin and I didn't want to see shepard's ugly mug. His body language is great enough. Kind funny he can drink through his helmet though.

I use it for my Adept. He's not that pretty anyway, robotic looking renegade Asian. I think the blood dragon armor looks pretty good myself.
Anyone notice that there's only one inferno armor model? I was planning on using it for my engineer, who is female, only to see her face through the glass helmet of maleshep's body! That plan ended pretty quickly.

I used the terminus on my first playtrough and the collector on my second, since the moment you can put it on till the end of the game. I think they just look too awesome not to wear them, also the slight voice modulator is a nice touch. I don't have the inferno armor, but I wouldn'tt use it anyway since I dislike the way it looks, blood dragon is allright but I don't have that one either.
Side note, it was pretty funny to see Liara kiss Shepard's collector face.

I definitely used the Blood Dragon Armor. I have made a concentrated effort to use each of the DLC armors during my playthroughs...basing their usage on which class their respective statistics seemed compliment the best.
Example: Blood Dragon Armor bolsters power damage by 15% and shields by 10%....the first class that comes to mind when I consider the joint offensive useage of biotics and shields is the Vanguard with its charge attack. Therefore, I used Blood Dragon Armor on my Vanguard throughout the entire game. I have to report it performed brilliantly.
Not that it matters but I figured the Collector's Armor best suited a soldier (Health +20 and Regen +10 were obviously geared towards a class whose asset is high health), Terminus for Sentinel (+15 shields for tech assault armor and +10 reserve ammo for the slug-spitting SMG cannot be accomplished with N7 armor modifications, the +10 Storm for quick cover further proves the point)....The Inferno Armor's stats didn't really spell out what class it was designed for so I just figured the Quarian-esque face-plate meant engineer, and it seemed to fit fairly well.
Now all we need is an Adept and Infiltrator DLC armor....sure the recon hood fits the Infiltrator and the Umbria Visor fits the Adept, but a full armor set would be preferable.
