I've seen several threads about this, but no method of fixing the problem has worked for me thus far. I've registered my copy of the game and cerberus code and such, when i play while connected to the ineternet, game works fine just as it should. However, if i try to play offline, i get a message saying the DLC is unauthorized and cannot load any of my saved games.
The problem being, i cannot stay connected to the internet all the time, i have a wireless aircard with a monthy data limit.
The one thing I did differently than i probably should have, was that i registered cerberus after being over halfway though the game, then downloading all the DLC i could get, and after installing the DLC, I started getting the unauthorized stuff, It was then i finally registered my copy of the game on the website here, but that did no good, still can not play while offline. Though, i highly doubt that order would prevent me from being able to play ME2 offline.
Any work arounds, ideas or suggestions? I understand companies need to protect themselves from piracy and whatnaught, but this is a little much for a simple single player game.
DLC will not work when offline

You need to authenticate the DLC with the Bioware/EA servers by logging in too your whatever account your DLC is attached to. Probably your social account you are using now.

Its not even a question on piracy prevention because in the first place you can download the relevant DLC according to your entitlements and ea/bioware account. The problem is the authentication. If you are logged in it is checked against your account and it does that everytime ME2 is launched which should not be because it should have been authenticated the first time your DLC is installed and logged in to Cerberus. I too am using a limited bandwitdh internet connection which explains why I am asking this technical problem for the tenth time.
I also have this problem, I'm retail, even though I am using the standard edition which has Blood dragon armor, Zaeed, and the Normandy crash site I feel losing much on what I should be getting.
Imagine those who have the deluxe and the ce versions who are up to now can't redeem their items and is also a victim of this nagging PERSISTENT DLC AUTHORIZATION CHECK.
Mr. Michael Gamble, the retail standard edition copies doesn't authenticate only just once but ALL THE TIME. Please, please fix this. Thank you.

Could you be a little more specific? Because my EA account is the same as my bioware social, and i registered my game with this Bioware account. What else would i need to do to authenticate my DLC?

The EA/Bioware social account you used to redeemed your DLC is used for authentication. Like you, if I have installed the three DLCs and doesn't have internet connection, immediately on the menu it says, "it failed to authentitcate blah blah blah." It is only corrected after connecting to the internet and logging in to the cerberus network, which both you and I can't afford because we are both using a limited bandwidth broadband.

Yea that's what's going on, i dunno, it's just frustrating. Ya know, being a good citizen and all that, actually buying the game, only to find out i have to have an active connection just to play a supposedly offline single player game. Hope there's a way to fix it in the works. I see some don't have this problem.
I just don't know what to do about it lol.

If we wanted, we could have just bought an mmo game or signed up with WoW or whatever. It really is a pain to be asked to turn on the internet just to be able to play a supposedly offline game. I really am hoping too that they will fix it ASAP.

That's illegal and is ruining the game's value specially those who paid for the right items.

See I have a similar but different problem. My Zaeed, Normandy and Kasumi DLC's all work offline but the rest of them do not, and I even tried to rectify the problem by logging into the Cerberus Network with my Bioware Social Login info and it didnt change anything. The other DLCs are locked and it wont let me access them even when connected to CN. Im pretty damned pissed off about it because I never had this problem before. But now that Im using Imported data from ME1 it suddenly has an issue? Its BS and I paid for all of the DLCs, I didnt Torrent any of them.

You need to authenticate them once, make sure to go into the online options and untick the feedback and automatic log in and voila- offline access.
