I purchased ME2 for PC
I'm confused to what the Cerberus code does/unlocks

OK so i input the code in-game, how do i confirm it works ?
I read for PC users, you have to redeem the code online, not in game. And i didn't know that. But I already entered my Cerberus Code in-game, and i didn't notice any difference (I already beat the game so i have a little experience).

So am I screwed coz i already input the code in-game ? I didn't notice any difference when i started a new game.
