Greetings

          I'm so curious! Can any one tell me why I have 2 DVD'S? I bought the the standard PC version, in the box are 2 DVD'S one marked Game Disc One the other Game Disc Two. When I installed the game it fully completed from Disc one and I am am now playing the game successfully . I t never asked for a second disc during install. If now i put that second disc into the pc it refuses to do anything saying that it "Failed to authenticate disk please try again." The second disc is inside a black cardboard EA wallet.

 What is the second disk for? I actually also had the same thing when I bought Mass Effect but never bothered to follow it up.

Try to explore the DVD and you'll see that it contains other languages you can install for the game

I think the second is for different languages. When I explored the 2. DVD I foundfiles for French, German, Polish and other languages with the size of >1GB.

I think if you choose one of these languages, it would request the 2. DVD.

The first should contains your primary language (English and Hungarian for me) so if you choose one of these, it won't ask the 2.

But it's just and idea....

I think the 2. DVD is for the additional languages. When I explored it, I found files for Polish, German, French language with size >1GB.
The 1. DVD should contains your primary language (English and local) this is why the setup did not requests the second, if you choose your local language, or English.

But I'm not sure...

I was wondering the same thing so i took a look on the contents of the second DVD, from what i can tell it seems to be content in german and french.

Where did you buy it and what version? Usually the 2nd disc contains localizations, i.e. if you bought the game in germany but choose to install and play it in english, you can forget about disc 2 with the german audio.

It's used to install languages other than english, so since you speak English you don't need the other disk.

Maybe it varies by region? Mine doesn't say Game Disc One, or have a second disc at all.

I looked inside the DVD, and I think it contains other spoken languages, French & German for sure as I can remember, no Italian unfortunately

There are optional soundfiles in other languages on the second disc.

I heard the second disc is language packs for europe, so if you want to install in other languages you need them.
