I didn't avoid it at all. I actually responded that question several pages ago and several times.

Shooting a female mercenary in the face is perfectly fine, because she has a shotgun aimed at you, and you have a shotgun aimed at her. That nullifies or greatly reduces the physical difference.

If the journalist was an individual of equal weight than shepard, wearing the same combat armor, it would have still been wrong, but for different reasons, and that's that she's just talking and not physically threatening. But that's regardless of gender.

I also agree with the other point...I wish we had a clear idea of what Shepard is about to do as a Renagade. For the most part my character was a Paragon but seriously....no one can be completely good. I try to make decisions that would reflect myself. It's the beauty of this game

It's a videogame. In this videogame you can be a dick. Being a dick means you punched a woman (twice if you played ME 1), because she pissed you off. End thread.

People needs to stop saying this. He's not justifying clocking a woman in the face. He's just saying that hitting people is equally wrong, regardless of the fact that they are women/men/trans/aliens/etc...

Fair point she indeed could be trained so that would provide even more reason to not hit the woman for to ask that question proves she is evil and prone to do anything. Therefore more bystanders getting hurt or even killed.

As far away from eachother as you'd like to suggest the means are, you admit, and you have to admit, that there is overlap.  There exists women that are as strong as men, and women that are stronger than men, no matter how small the percentage is, it exists, and that is enough.

As such, gender doesn't adequately represent physical strength better than physical strength itself.

If physical strength is the foundation of your principle, then it makes more sense to say "It is wrong to punch someone weaker than yourself" rather than involve unnecessary factors that are not true in all cases.

Women are generally weaker than men, this is a simple fact. It's no more sexist than saying men are generally taller/heavier and men generally have more body hair.



PS. there's a hormone that men have more of that is responsible for all 3 of these things.
