Quick question. If there was a hypothetical drug that cured 95% of a disease but did not work on 5% of subjects, would you label the drug as a cure for the disease or would you simply say the 5% failure rate is enough to say the drug is irrelevant to those with the disease?

Saying something is unnecessary and saying it is not true in all cases are not even remotely the same thing. Going back to statistics, we say something is statistically significant when it is an indicator of another factor. In this case, being male is an extremely statistically significant indicator that you are stronger than a female. Taking this into consideration, it has been passed down for generations that men should not involve themselves in the hitting of women and should focus on fighting each other. If you don't like this, so be it.

I'm sorry, but I've yet to see a justification for why referring to gender as a proxy for physical strength makes more sense than just refering to physical strength itself.

Using "Gender" to refer to "Strength" is unnecessary, in and of itself.
Furthermore, it is not true in all instances, which makes it a bad idea, on top of being unnecessary.

I thought about responding, but I just don't like you. Your existence angers me.

But by the very nature of not fighting them because they are women, is sexist.  Women can be highly trained fighters, they may use a different style or tactics, but to simply say don't fight them because they are women is sexist.   This is a cultural bias, and sexist, while you don't agree with it, doesn't change the fact.  You are discounting the ability of an opponent just because of gender.  Co-worker was wild in his youth and fought for fun alot, also played DT in high school as well as wrestling, so he could handle himself.  He was ballpark 250lbs of pure meanness when younger, but he says his worst buck kicking he ever took was from a 160 pounder who kung fu kicked his butt into submission. 


Now fighting someone just to beat them is wrong, doesn't matter what gender, but if a woman attacks me all bets are off.
